We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Should we be worried that all the beats left out that the Eagles aren’t done at safety?

Worries me too cause i don’t think edmunds and Blankenship are viable together. I think they need a guy who’s better in coverage. I’d love to pair Johnson with either of those two.

And on the 7th day, Howie ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the 7th day from all his work which he had made.

I started reading this tweet and thought we made a couple of huge trades.

That's not hate, it's being realistic.  Blankenship made some plays when he was on the field last year but if the Eagles add another veteran, or draft a guy like Sydney Brown, Blankenship very well may be the 3rd safety.  Edmunds/Blankenship could be a fun camp battle for that starting position and there should be competition.  Blankenship shouldn't be crowned a starter and neither should Edmunds.

And I'm picking my flag in the ground of camp Blankenship saying he's going to be Edmunds and be great for this defense this year and going forward.  As far as Eagles defensive rookies in the past 10 years he was probably the second best behind Jordan Hicks.

I went completely out on Quez after that SB drop. Quez sucks.

I don't think it was as much of a drop as it was just a really bad route, still can't figure out why the heck he slowed up coming out of his route, he keeps running he catches it in stride and walks into the end zone, instead he has to try to make a perfectly thrown ball into a really hard catch.

I'd say it was a one off but he had run the same lazy routes previous weeks so

I don't know, I was frustrated with him, but like I said if he can get right the eagles are better when he's good

Who has the countdown until Taven Bryan and Mike Hughes are brought in next?  And when we get to #32... we'll be at Tatergeddon levels!

I get it.  I'm just stating that saying a guy is the 3rd safety does not equal hate as you say.  We don't have to be homers about every player on the team.  Blankenship might ball out in camp and prove he's a clear cut starting safety in the NFL.  Can't speak for the others on here, but I'm just not ready to hand the position to him.  I liked when they signed him and even thought he was a draftable player but I want to see more before I plug him in on opening day.

That’s a rational POV but I’m now irrational. Trade him for James Thrash.

I liked Quez coming out in the draft.  I'm ready to get or at least attempt an upgrade. Can't see handing him the job this year. Make him earn it back

Some folks around here don't know how good they have it.

Probably never spent a penny to be here, either. Posting because that's life for them.

Grounded, take their keyboard away, make em watch reruns of Golden Girls til Maude starts lookin good...

...wish someone could ID these idgits, put it right out there...why protect their identities? Everything Online is public, no?

I never really cared for Maude (as a kid in the 70's), never really watched the Golden Girls, either. But I do wonder how many people here are old enough to get the reference lol.

This isn't directed to you, I'm just tacking it on here:

For the record, if anyone sends me a PM or email and I don't IMMEDIATELY read/respond to it, that's not me 'disrespecting' the sender. It's just me prioritizing my time and focus to much more important things. Give me a few hours or even a day and I'll reply, if a reply is necessary.

Nah, it's all good. I just have a whole lot going on at the moment and having every video that I post to to try to promote the board get 'protest' comments, just kind of ticked me off. Had it happened at any other time, I'd have just ignored it and set comments to be off.

But you know when you have one of those moments where something just gets under your skin and you react? That was my moment yesterday lol.

We've all had those.  When we are tired, anxious, etc. we have a lower level for what we can tolerate without getting heated.

I'm far from a homer about every player on the team.

It is very interesting.  If the analyst is right Morrow will be an improvement over Kyzir White.

2.  After watching Morrow start for a year, a professional team felt it worthwhile to invest $20m in upgrading the position with TJ Edwards.

Looking at the video of Morrow it doesn’t appear to me that the Bears replaced Morrow with Edwards. Edwards plays MLB  while Morrow plays WIL.  The comparable for Morrow is White not Edwards.

I mention Tippmann as one of my 10 favorite players in the draft , I think he goes earlier than consensus says , imo he is the best athlete of all the IOL

Better than Mauch?

I hadn’t seen the numbers yet on three of those deals. I’m surprised Morrow is the cheapest of the signings.

It's in the post you quoted, Jones is a 26 year pass rushing 3 down DT.

That is the who, but not the why.  Even with that you are changing the equivalency by undoing a transaction that was already done.  Jones would be good, but his price tag was not so good.

Bottom-line, you appear to be saying that a DT playing 40% of the team’s snaps is more valuable than a boundary CB playing 95% of the team’s snaps.  Do I have that right?
