No #1 seeds.  My Coogs go down bad.

The region was getting all hyped up for a Texas - Houston matchup to get to Houston for the final 4.

Miami had other ideas.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Be dumb to completely discount CB because you have two 30+ year old starting corners, one of which didn't really play all that well down the stretch including the super bowl

The dream scenario is that QB 4 falls to 10 and someone in the 14-19 range wants him bad enough to trade a pair of #1s.

I could see Chicago making yet another awesome trade at 9 to do the same thing though.

Another great scenario, although unlikely, is someone decides they want to get Hooker with a 5th year option and pay a handsome price to move back in to the end of round 1.

Which scenario would you prefer:

1. Trade 10, 30, 2023 3rd for 5, 52 and go up to get Anderson Jr

2. Stay at 10 and take CB

3. Trade back

so then we have Jurgens sitting for 2 years.  Either way, they would be using premium picks on guys who aren't contributing for half of their contracts.

Rather have a RB that you run in to the ground for his full contract than an OL who might play 2 and then who knows what happens.

True but there is a big difference between a 2nd round pick and the 10th overall pick in the draft.  Especially let's say they do take a OT at #10 and slide him into RG until lane retires then Jurgens in year 2 would be the top backup for center and the guard spots knowing that our left guard already has a career worth of injuries.

Yeah Bijan would be fun to draft.  He could be a monster in this offense and help take it to another level.  We know that isn't going to happen though, just not how this team operates.  But I do think that he would be more likely than a CB at 10 at this point just for the very fact that he would be an instant contributor to an offense that has core window together for at least the next 2-3 years.  It would be going all in on the Hurts-AJ-DeVonta-Goedert + offensive line core they have right now while they do have them all under contract.

1 is way too pricey, but trading up for Anderson is a strong idea as he’s a generational talent. How often will we have any shot at getting a top 5 draft talent at a position eagles covet?

But at that price tag, trade back would be best, ideally if we get a later 1st this year and then another first next

Dead money but not a cap hit if traded?

No one wanted to trade for Slay this year why would they want to trade for him next year when he would be a year older?

It’s interesting that no one has talked about trading up given us having two 1sts.

Will Anderson Jr falls past Arizona Howie will start making calls to Seattle, etc

Probably because of the vast ocean between the third round and their next pick. If Anderson is everything he’s cracked up to be teams will just take him or demand a ransom.

Have to hope all 4 QBs go before Anderson or Wilson so that a trade up is possible.  I think if a QB is still on the board prices will be high.

They dont have to trade up with this years picks. They have like 12 next year that they can use for amo.

I dont think theyll trade up from 10.

You can start thinking about trading up from 30. More likely, I think theyll end up just trading for extra picks this year, using some of next years.

I said this last night but I think the best case is trading down from 10 so they can get some picks back this year then potentially trading up for 30 when they see how the board falls.

Oh man.

My other alum (FAU) is in the Elite 8.

Tough matchup tomorrow against KSU.

If they can pull off that upset, anything is possible!

Princeton/Creighton helluva game

Value

the defense needs 10 and 30 more than it needs one player.

the team needs young talent

I think its beat we stay put at 10 Unless you can get a kings ransom

30 will be a fluid situation

2024 picks aren’t going to cut it for a team in the top 5ish in the 2023 draft. Maybe if they want to trade up for 30 they could.

I would dump #30 for a first next yr. Or a second next yr plus some more this yr. Maybe

still think there will be quality players there at 30 for us

Not talking about top 5. We aren't moving there.

BPA is an interesting scenario(s) this year for the Eagles.

This takes OT off the board at 10 IMO. Does NOT take OL off the board at 10. Skoronski still fits.

Mauch is a better choice than Skoronski

Howie is definitely going to trade down at some point. No chance he only has 6 picks.

Whether it’s from 10 I think will depend on how much they love the players sitting there. I hope they aren’t swayed from drafting a corner, it’s a huge need.

Howie only made 5 picks last year
