PFF now making you pay to mock. Lame.

That's laughable and pathetic when so many other sites do it just as well as them and allow you to do it for free.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

When I watch the film on Murphy I see a guy that relies on his power to get to the QB.  He does have explosion but he is more of a straight line rusher who lacks bend.  Those guys don't typically produce high sack totals in the NFL.  OT's in the NFL can move their feet and they aren't going to get overpowered.  He also regressed a bit in '22.

I get the feeling that he will be a decent NFL starter but I don't think he will ever be a superstar.

I came away thinking he looked super athletic and every bit the top 6 player he usually is on big boards.

cant really find free ones now. I tried fanskeap and it didnt let me in without upgrading.

First-pick seems to be gone.

TDN cant get their website figured out and its been unavailable for almost a year now unless you pay 10 dollars a month to be a beta tester.

Hell yeah, I'd take Jeffrey Simmons!

One particular member, who has since demanded that his account be deleted and all content be removed, knew my personal YouTube channel. I explained to him that I wanted to keep it separated from the EMB because there's always that one or two people that will end up banned and will be idiots and will want to go and harass just for the sake of their own idiocy. So I asked him to just keep it to himself (figuring that there was probably a 50% or less chance of him honoring his word).

I can't say for sure if he's the one doing it (or if he was even the only one that knew my personal channel but he's the only one that ever mentioned it to me), or maybe handed out my channel name to the others who've departed (or may still be here), so that they could harass me but when things blew up, I figured I'd start to see some harassment of some kind on my personal channel, and sure enough, I have.

Cyber bullying is just wrong.  Sorry you had to endure that and hope you don’t sour for the rest of us from this experience.  I hope everything is going well for you and your mother is faring as well as she can.  Thanks

I brought up trading for him weeks back. Would be a great get for the line. It would be costly to get him.

I'd be interested. Curious to see what their trade requirement might be though. Easily #10+ and it'd require a new contract as a contingency since this is his last year on his deal.

"Good tape” is where most teams understand if their player is good. 40 time has nothing to do with any real evaluation of a football player. That’s a very basic line of thinking that is easily dismissed by all of the fast players who suck, and the slow players who are great.

Some athleticism is good sure, but having an average 40 time is more than enough for most.

The 40 time is absolutely correlated to NFL success, we don't need to pretend it doesn't. Guys who run faster in general are better than guys who don't run fast. Better athletes in general tend to be better players than those who aren't.

It's not the only thing and of course the tape matters, but when building a player evaluation, a poor athlete is a red flag at almost every nfl position.

Say 10 this year, a 2nd next year and Milton Williams. I'd prefer to hold onto Williams and give them another pick but maybe they want a young DT who's cheap with two years left on his rookie deal. I'm unsure where we are with the cap. 11.5 mil under or 21.5 mil under...

Sorry you have to endure such foolishness just because you tried to do something nice for everybody.

Too much. That's significantly more than they paid for AJ.  30, 2nd next year, Williams, or just 10.

#10 straight up or will we need to throw in more?

I would think more, not sure how much more though.

There is a lot of projection that goes into NFL evaluation. Not everything is "player X did Y in college so he should do Y in the NFL.” You have to see if it will actually translate. Again, Maclin is a great example — one of the most explosive players in CFB history was a possession receiver in the NFL because he was a few hundredths of a second too slow. Van Ness is an example this year — will his power translate to the NFL? Can you teach him other pass rushing moves? A good start is to evaluate just how athletic he is.

Ah yes, the highly reputable NFL Notifications.

I think #10 and next year's 3rd + 5th or something to that extent would be worth it.

Not giving up ten when you have to give him a huge deal.

2 days since Howie signed anyone. Tomorrow feels like another signing day.

Jeffrey Simmons would be great here but not sure Howie could afford him, would rather have him than Cox but 🤷‍♂️

It doesn't seem as though Lane's additional savings was added to the cap sites. We should be about 21 mil under.
I'd love to hold onto 10. Trade back from there and gather some picks back.
30, Milton, 2024 2nd maybe even another day 3 pick sounds ok. If they insist upon 10 plus a sweetener then fine.

I could see the Falcons, Lions and Bears jumping in on this trade too, all who pick ahead of us and are flush with cap space. Bears and Lions are loaded with picks this year too. Damn, these Lions are in good shape between talent, cap space, draft picks... Fers
