We've been transparent before and stated reasoning but then the few problem posters continue lying about it anyway. So if you want that conversation and want transparency...be careful what you ask for because things will come out you might not like. Reported posts, the insane conspiracy theories & garbage I get in my inbox, the requests to ban people you don't like, the hypocrisy in celebrating when people get suspended or banned that you don't like. You want to keep calling out the mods just be prepared.

Maclin the "possession receiver” was 9th in yards in 2014 and only 1 WR in the top 10 averaged more yards per catch 15.5. 3rd in 40+ plays, 8th in YAC. All after his second ACL injury.  He played 2 seasons at Mizzou and averaged less yards per catch than he did in the NFL. But yeah he wasn’t explosive lol. Do y’all even watch the sport or just make ish up?

I honestly think the contract you have to pay Simmons is less of an issue for the Eagles in terms of wanting to pay him. It might be an issue with the cap more so than the eagles paying him . I think the Eagles would willingly pay Jeffery Simmons the money for how great he is. He’s basically a younger Fletcher Cox for the next 6 to 7 years if you make the trade. I don’t think they’re gonna be the only team interested in him. I wouldn’t be so shocked if the the lions get involved With their picks.

I also think the 10th pick is a lot when you consider you have to give him the contract as well. 

that said i don’t think the eagles are willing to give up the compensation to get byard and a contract at 30 that he’ll cost due to the safety position. We can say whatever we want, but years ago Byrd was the big free agent safety everyone one of the Eagles to go out for. They went with a lesser option in terms of talent and also cheaper in Malcolm Jenkins. It worked out because Malcolm Jenkins was better than what byrd was ultimate. I don’t think the Eagles are willing to give up draft picks and pay the high price for a safety. Especially one at 30. I do think they do it for a pass rushing Defensive tackle. That said i don’t think either are likely but I’d bet on Simmons at 25 and a pass rushing interior Lineman over a 30 year old safety.
