Yea seems like someone just trying to stir the pot for likes. I think it was Dane Brugler that wrote that Frank Reich liked Levis from their time talking at the combine

It won't be those though.  We're supposed to be getting the 80s/90s with the silver pants.  Nike can't make silver pants anymore so will be interesting to see how they handle it.  Seattle is also getting 90s throwbacks that had silver pants.  Maybe they have a solution?

I believe you, but how can a multi-billion dollar company not be able to make silver pants?

I have to say that there is not a single OL I would choose in the first round. Skoronski is no tackle. Any rusher with longer arms, which is most of them, will chew him up. We have a player who is almost identical in Driscoll, who also has experience and is at least serviceable at tackle. Skoronski will be a guard and unless you're Martin or Nelson, you're not worth a high pick. Paris Johnson does nothing for me either. He's not particularly strong or quick and, horror of horrors! He's a waist bender. He's a project and therefore not a first rounder.

A guy I like a lot is O'Cyrus Torrence. He's a technical mess but he's terrific raw material. Big, strong, and mean.

What's wrong with him? Worst thing, he doesn't slide in pass protection. He turns and when you turn the rusher can blow right by you. He definitely lunges, and gets over his skis. When he sets his legs are too wide, which is why he can't slide. When you slide the first foot to move is the one in the direction of the slide. However, if you're halfway to doing a split the first foot to move will be the back foot and by then you're already too late. I don't know if he has a kick-step. For sure I've never seen it. I hope that makes sense. He too is a project but we have the coach to fix him. I could see us using our third round pick on him. Give him one year with Stoutland and he can take over at RG when Jurgens moves to C. Give him two years and he can take over at RT when Lane retires.

How about Wright at Tenn? Or Freeland later?

So a couple things. Since I have a bunch of gamers and just a bunch of authentics from all eras. Puma, adidas, Nike, Sandknit. the best jerseys that were ever made came from Reebok. The quality was really good. The color was really good. They tend to last longer. However, there were certain teams like the New York Giants where their blue jerseys overtime  hanged to a purpleish color just because of the sweat if they weren’t washed. I think the Green Bay packers have the same thing with their green and yellow. It began changing to different colors. I will say sandknit for the 70s and 80s did a really good job considering the time era and how those jerseys have held up overtime. Russell athletic did pretty good job too. However some of the screen printed on game worn jerseys overtime kind of deteriorate and crack . And there was only one year where the Eagles had stitched on numbers with Kelly Green.

Imo Nike has gotten worse over the course of time in almost every single sport. I have college basketball gamers from 80s, 90s 2000s and the last 10 years. They progressively got worse. The stuff from the 80s and 90s is really good quality. Holds up over the test of time. Looks much nicer and feel is better. The new NBA jerseys that they make that are authentic and game worn are just pieces of crap. The fact that those things sell for like 200 to 250 is amazing. Even Adidas when they were doing for the NBA was much better quality than Nike. The only jersey Nike really has made great quality in the last 20 years is when they had some of the hockey jerseys. They did a really good job on those.

What are your thoughts on Cody Mauch? Stout seemed to like what he saw from him at the combine. He can play multiple positions on the OL. I don’t think he would be a long term answer at LT, but think he could play in a pinch.

The 33rd Team has Broderick Jones as their number 1 prospect.  They also have Quentin Johnston as their number 2 and Levis as 3. I am not sure who does their rankings but they have a fair amount of former NFL FO on their staff.  I just wonder if Jones' size and athletic scores will make him a top 10 pick.

they lost the technology.  it's why we can't get to the moon now.

I’d like to see the Eagles try to get Devin White in a trade.

They also know not to attack humans. Some weird stat where the only recorded orca attacks were in captivity, which is pretty astonishing.

I can’t fathom how they figured out not to do that. People are helpless in the water, I’d eat every one of those mofos

Maybe they think of us like bugs. You play with the ant hill for awhile, but they’re still gross

Maybe they used to attack people, those Orcas then got hunted down. Darwinian pressure against human hunting.

Also it seems like other marine mammals are pretty friendly towards humans. Other wales, dolphins have even been found to save humans, etc.

Not great for us if he doesn't go top 10

The  Eagles don't need to spend a day one or two pick on a backup OL.

Freeland and Jake Witt are both backup OTs with high RAS.  Day 3.   The Eagles can go find a day 3 high RAS guy who is shorter than 6'7 who is a normal height, Guard height.   If they want to.  There isn't any real need to do that.  Might as well keep the cupboard full of top RAS projects.
Here are some links to players like that.  Get the day 3 ones.

Have you watched Broderick Jones? He’s my favorite of the first round OT prospects. Seems athletic and mean, but raw. Only average size, but as a RS sophomore he should be able to bulk up a bit. I think he’s the first OT off the board.

I had him as the #1 OT before the Super Bowl.  I expect him to be the first tackle off the board.

Some of the Eagles early Midnight Green were also made by Starter and yea, 1995, Randalls last year is when they had the stitched on numbers, easy to tell because they had a shine or reflective effect.

It's also interesting that certain teams use different jersey templates.  The Packers for instance, even though they are using Nike jerseys, don't use a Nike jersey template, they still use the Reebok template. It think there are 1 or 2 other teams that still use pre-Nike templates. They use the more traditional jersey template with the seam going across the upper chest creating the shoulder and sleeve area.  The also use the more traditional mesh and thicker nylon/cotton that adds the shine to the shoulders (same thing that could be used for shiny pants).

Packers GM Brian Gutekunst provides new timeline of Aaron Rodgers trade request

Here you can see the Eagles when they used to use the old template.  Nike logo, Reebok template.

Philadelphia Eagles 2014 offseason preview - CBSSports.com

The current template is the Nike Vapor Pro, which you can see doesn't have the seem like the one, rather has the seem on ther shoulder cap.  You can also tell the material is different and the green is an entirely different color.  For all of the hype around jersey technology, it seems to me the new ones hold sweat more than any of the old mesh ones do.

Jalen Hurts.

At least they got rid of the horrible Flywire

Nike Flywire vs Nike Vapor. The current jersey are prob. a better fit while wearing shoulder pads but wearing the jersey as a fan… ehh. The Flywire jerseys just felt much more

The Flywire also created a terrible collared look for some teams because apparently the technology didn't allow them to use the same color for the collar to go the whole way around the neck.
