What are your thoughts on Cody Mauch? Stout seemed to like what he saw from him at the combine. He can play multiple positions on the OL. I don’t think he would be a long term answer at LT, but think he could play in a pinch.

Not a fan. Can't say anything intelligent about him because I only watched a little and was unimpressed. He's probably better than I think he is but strictly an UDFA. JMHO.

If you had a choice between JSN and Dalton Kincaid, which would you choose?

JSN. TE at 10 is a no-go unless you're an elite, elite prospect at the position (ex: Brock Bowers).

They are. To add on, mitchell and ness is crap quality. Used to be decent now it’s crap and definitely not worth what they charge. You’d be better off just finding a jersey from that actual era for the price and value

What do you know about the site Rare Vintage?

https://www.rarevntg.com/

No idea if these are just retail replicas or just really good fakes.  Have some random 80s/90s players.  Some are clear retail but some stick oiut.

They have a Jesse Small that has elastic around the waist that leads me to beleive it could be a true authentic but I don't know many NFL LB that wore a size 42.

Nice. Ford-Wheaton, Jarrett and especially Washington would be solid choices.

Boutte has tanked his chances of going on Day 2, I think he'd be a great option on Day 3. Hoping Mingo falls to 4th and we make a move to grab him there.

Davis was an outstanding PR as well as a decent WR on a team where Johnston was the primary target.

How does Seattle only have 27 players signed?

Possibly a typo and 27 is actually 72.

EDIT: someone else said 57, which also makes sense.

A true QB factory would adopt the philosophy of keeping the rest of the roster strong while cycling through the QB position every 4-5 years.

You mean like trading Hurts for a pick that reunites Richardson with his college OC, Brian Johnson?   Most people would be against that.

It would take a lot of balls to say "we run a system that works great with day 3 running QBs,  they're disposible and we draft a lot of them, sometimes they can play RB, WR, TE or FB.  We can work with QBs that others cannot."

There is the tendency to anoint whoever did well under any circumstances as THE guy, and he must get paid.   The NFL wants it that way.

Running QBs are BEST and they're great year 1 if the running is cranked to max.   Lamar's rookie year,  first start,  26 rushes and a win.  6=1 that first year. Playoffs.  Max completions in a game that year, 14.

That's crazy high praise. DJ did say he thinks he's going to be really good and should go top 15

Didn't mean to steal your thunder. I've been away for a while.

I have less interest in thunder than a pool full of kids on summer break.

Welcome back.

Did a PFN mock draft that I will deem the anti Howie draft.

Trade 10 to the Chargers for 21,54, 2024 2nd.

Trade 62 and 219 for 71 and 2024 3rd.

21. Bijan Robinson RB

30. Trenton Simpson LB

54. DJ Turner CB

71. Sydney Brown S

94. Andre Carter II Edge

248. Byron Young DT

I think your breakdown is eminently fair. Day Three in the draft but higher than 7th round. Fourth or fifth, of which we currently have neither. A project, but in my limited view pretty much all the OL prospects are projects. I like Torrence because he has one real quality: strength. And, his feet are not bad, just badly coached. I don't see a single great quality in Freeland. Then again, Lane was a QB at one point. If Stoutland can build Freeland, maybe. Like Torrence, a two year project.

Cool, I saw Torrence when Florida whooped up on Utah, he's a big boy.

I've seen some mocks that have him in the 1st which I think is too high for him but who knows🤷‍♂️

Maybe him saying things like this is why he no longer works in any teams FO...

I have no idea if it would be possible. Would require some real howie magic. From 5 total picks, to 7 with 6 of them in the top 100.

I whiffed on DTs. I lost track of what picks I had.

Kincaid is pretty close to elite.  He's not Brock Bowers but he's going to be a Zach Ertz type of player in the league.  I love Bowers but he's 6-4 225.  He won't be positionless in the NFL at all but he's most likely not coming in to do much blocking at all.  He's just going to be a matchup nightmare.  Kincaid is 6-4 246 and while he isn't a world beater as a TE, he's more complete IMO.  Kincaid was a flat out stud for Utah and battled through injuries, a tough SOB.  He's the kind of guy you want.

I love Bowers though.  He's special.

But also, no, not taking Kincaid at 10.

Ras compare   Kancey and Aaron Donald. Ras doesn't have Kanceys new numbers up yet.

But  3 cone compare.   Kancey 6.82 vs Donald 7.11.
Shuttle Kancey 4.33 vs Donald 4.39
Vert Kancey 33.5 vs Donald 32
Broad Kancey 9'4 vs Donald 9'8
Weight Kancey 283 vs Donald 285

Donald had an excellent bench of 35.  Don't see Kancey's.

Kancey has better 40 time,  10 split and 3 cone.

What are arm lengths between the two?

Wonder if they'll do the eagle carrying the football patch.

Loved that when I was a kid.

Yup Kincaid is pretty good, he had a bunch of injuries this year missed some time but he's got some good tape, they moved him all over the formation and he shows he can high point and catch contested balls down the seam or sideline or in the end zone., he adjusts well to the ball when it's in the air, he's shown he can break tackles and even hurdle guys, he's not an elite run blocker by any means but he's probably better than Ertz was.

He's a good prospect, be interesting to see if he goes 1st round, if I had to bet on it I'd say 2nd.

This is one of the sickest sports photos I've seen.

Can the Eagles use DJ Turner on jet sweeps and the like?  Outside running?  Perhaps stretch the field from the slot?  4.26 at the combine is fast.

I mean no disrepect with this but are you 12?  So far you've suggested Lane Johnson at QB, Marcus Mariota at RB and now a CB for jet sweeps.
