On one hand, I’d point out that we got worse on paper this off-season, while they did not.  However, our defense couldn’t possibly be worse against them in a rematch…so that makes the losses somewhat irrelevant.

They didn’t?  They’ve lost both starting offensive tackles, JuJu, Hardman, and Thornhill in free agency

Yep. Also when he said punters should wear #0 to have a target to get hit has convinced me that Covey should change numbers to #0 so when players blast him on returns, they have a target to aim for.

It's tough for any baseball team to pack a stadium every game when there are so many through the week and during a season - the Phils did have a very impressive stretch of sellouts back in the Utley/Howard/Rollins days.

Man I don't know what to think of Jalen Carter.  On one hand he's an enormous talent.  On the other, the maturity issues are a concern and I don't know if he's gonna be able to make the jump to the pros.  If he can do it anywhere, Philly is probably the ideal landing spot for him.  He's got some guys that know him from Georgia (Jordan Davis) and has a lot of veteran leadership on the line that could help guide him.

He could still be a target for the Cards or Lions, though.

He's gone off on him before calling him "just a coach" and he's only successful because of Brady. He probably didn't like getting tagged and not getting a deal from the Patriots I'm guessing.
