does it renew after 60 days? or he just stays on the 60 day?

He just stays on it. It's called that because that's the minimum amount of time they have to miss.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Absolutely this year.  Harper is out until the end of the year and that other dude just busted his knee.  Phillies fans are quick to jump ship and abandon team.  Then whenever they make the playoffs suddenly everyone is a huge life long fan all decked out in gear.

Clearly you have 0 knowledge about the Phillies, so maybe you should just stay out of Phillies convos.

Thought I heard Harper might be back before All-Star game

I don't follow baseball but from what I've heard on sports talk radio is he might be able to just start hitting as a DH or something in August.

I'll be sure to tag you when it's June/July and that ball park is empty and Phillies are on the outside looking in of the wild card race.

And damn right I have little knowledge of it.  God awful boring sport.  Phillies are one of my most disliked teams in all of sports.

The Washington Nationals would like to thank the Phillies for taking him off our hands.  We have a World Series trophy he can come look at next time he's available to play!

It took me a good 15 seconds to decipher exactly what’s happening in that gif. After about 5 seconds my reaction was "is there a bird diving in the water at the end? That’s a really weird splash it makes”

Orca are relentless killers...  properly named colloquially 'killer whales'.

He's got a point. There's like practically no one at CBP and it's opening day! Unreal.

It's opening day.  Let's see what that ball park looks like in 2-3 months.  It'll be a ghost town like it usually is.

I've been trying to find any first round drafted QBs with less experience and polish throwing the football than Anthony Richardson.  He had 393 college passes in his career.  The only other QB I could find with less than 500 college passes was .... Cam Newton.  Drafted #1 overall to ..... the Carolina Panthers.

It’s already a ghost town. Game starts in 20 minutes and it’s basically empty

I see what you did there.

Lean Mean already made the joke but RTK didn’t get it so I tried to be more direct

My friend went to Dallas for the home opener.

Phils are in a hyper competitive division and definitely got better. After a worthy WS appearance and great playoff run. I think they will draw fine.

They mesh well with the fans too.  Not all the way to beloved status, but the fans like the players a bunch.

Jalen Carter has been red flag after red flag since before the combine.  You have oeople from across the football world saying these things and I haven't really seen anyone come to his defense.  Nothing about him says he's a can't miss prospect.  Now, I know a DT can impact a game in many ways besides stats but his production is garbage compared to other players at the same position and while Warren Sapp is a HOF player, maybe are talking about Carter like he's on the same level.  He isn't.

-Carter played in 35 games in his career.  He had 44 tackles, 6 sacks and 18.5 TFL.  Now, the positive I take away from that is that 42% of his tackles were TFL

-Let's compare that to Warren Sapp, another player with red flags coming out of college.  Over 3 years, Sapp had 176 tackles, 19.5 sacks.  Sapp nearly quadroopled Carter's production.

-Calijah Kancey played in 1 less game than Carter and had 52 tackles, 16 sacks and 34.5 TFL.  66% of his tackles were TFL.

-Carter appeared to be lazy and winded in games which continued in his offseason workouts.  Kancey plays wtih extreme intensity and he tested the same way.

Give me the guy who produced, played hard and tested at the top of his position 10 times out of 10.

I think you can't just compare games, but you have to look at the total number of defensive snaps.  I would assume Carter's snaps are much lower. It looks like Carter had 308 snaps on defense vs. 454 for Kancey in 2022.  https://www.on3.com/teams/georgia-bulldogs/news/georgia-football-total-snap-counts-from-regular-season/ c.f.  https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Calijah-Kancey-DL-Pittsburgh#:~:text=In 2022 as a junior, and contributed on 454 snaps.  So in the last year, Kancy had about one and a half times more snaps than Carter.  (1.47)   If you assume that same ratio difference of their college careers, Carter looks like a more productive player on a per snap basis.

He has a high ceiling and a low low floor.  Beyond the criminal stuff, there's reportedly issues with his work ethic.  He is a physically dominant college player.  He isn't so dominant that he can expect to come out and not work to produce. If the Eagles take him, my assumption is they believe the lockerroom veterans will keep him in line and help him mature.

I’m starting to relent on wanting Philly to take advantage of the storm and snag him at 10, but man it’d be awesome if we got another Nakobe Dean situation on our hands

Please do tag me. The ballpark is never "empty." The Bank isn't that open spot next to you in bed on a Friday night.

So like I said, when you admittedly have no knowledge of the team or sport perhaps you should, I dunno...STFU about it?

I think the Ruggs thing all but locks the Raiders into passing on him. It would be a bad look, even if he supposedly wasn’t drinking.

Plus, Vegas might not be a great environment for him.
