Yeah, I need to get caught up on some prospects. Normally when I’m watching college football October and November are. But since the Phillies were in the playoffs, I got lost in that. And then the Eagles were in the playoffs and the Super Bowl so I really didn’t get started on any great amount of prospects. So if people have some that they like drop the names so i  can go check them out. I love looking at them and seeing what I think about them.

Definitely check out DeWayne McBride from UAB.

Hooker is not ahead of Levis or Richardson. Hooker will be a round 3-4 guy. He'll most likely outperform his slot, but he isn't going to go in R1.

Bolded the guys you had I like, crossed out some guys you had that I don't like, and added some of my own in CAPS.

I think he had Hooker late in Round 3

Hodges-Tomlinson I can understand people not likeing, but Achane? What is it about Achane that you don't like?

I would love to hunt them with a dog sometime - makes it a lot easier!

I should have re-phrased.  I'm not saying Hooker will get drafted earlier, but he's a better player right now than Levis -- and infinitely better than Richardson.  Richardson should be changing positions

He's 5'9" and 185 pounds. We need a primary ball carrier, because as much as I like Gainwell, he isn't one. Now if they get Kareem Hunt or the like, I'm all for drafting Achane and having a Hunt/Gainwell/Achane RB room.

I don't know if Stoutland really has a "mold" tbh. Skoronski is just a good player, he may not be uber athletic or have the longest arms. I think he could play guard or tackle. If he doesn't work as a tackle, he could be your future RG. I think adding OL depth is always on the Eagles minds.

I think pick 10 is going to be CB or OL. I'd honestly be surprised if it was anything but one of those two positions. Last year for example, we all thought it could've been a wide variety of positions. WR, Safety, DT, EDGE, CB, etc. But given where the strengths of this draft lie at the area of pick 10 and the Eagles needs, I think this is going to be a very chalky draft for the Eagles assuming they stay put at 10. They need CB depth, they always love adding OL depth and need to plan for Lane possibly being gone in a couple years and Seumalo leaving. I think it's a good bet either of those spots are the pick. And Johnson Jr and Skoronwki are regarded as the best in their class at OL.

How you have described Skoronski is that he is a lot like Dillard.  I don't want to invest Pick #10 in a player that is only a backup or spot starter.

I agree with all your second paragraph logic right up until the final sentence. I have Broderick Jones ahead of both Skoronski and Johnson, and I have Johnson ahead of Skoronski.  But take that with a grain of salt.  All I am is a 75year old retiree.

Looks like he was only with Seattle last year.  Prior to that he was the Bears DC in 2021 and a variety of position coaches for them for like 8 years prior to that.  Bears ranked #6 defense in yards in 2021 but 22nd in PPG.

He was an assistant at Temple so he may have some Philly connections.  I think that Chicago defense was primarily a 4 down front.

I think something like this is realistic and fills a lot of holes:

I don't want either the expense or age of a retread NFL back, which is what I consider Hunt to be.  Give me Miller and Achane to go with Gainwell.  Miller could just as easily be one of the other 3rd-4th Round backs mentioned here.  Kenny McIntosh is another speedster like Achane.

That was good, but I'm (selfishly) partial to the "Kirk Cousins is the next Drew Brees" thread by Nottingham.  The meltdowns, my god

Well tbh, I don't think this is a great OL class. Depending on your perspective, that could benefit the Eagles or not. If this was a great OL class, the first OT would not be projected in the 10-13 range. Elite OT prospects go in the top 5. So on one hand, if you're the Eagles do yo want to take an OT at 10 who in a better class may be picked in the late teens?

On the other hand, if this was a great OL class, you probably wouldn't have your crack at any of the top OTs. They'd be gone. So the Eagles will probably have their pick of the best OL in this class if they do like them.

I still think CB is most likely, because I Lane will still be around for a few years at the very least, and I don't think they'll use pick 10 on an interior lineman. Stout can develop and identify guys in the later rounds they can draft and plugin if Seumalo leaves.

I'm not and I think squirrels just went out. I have been fishing a couple of times with no luck. Have you been camping?

I like Jones or Johnson at 10. Even if Lane is here for a few more years, put one of them in at RG and pound the rock. Gonzales scares the crap out of me because I have a permanent case of the heebie-jeebies for PAC 12 dbs.

10 out of 10 TATErs for drafting a RB named Tank.  He's just what we need a big power back.  I can't wait to get my tank jersey.

I like rabbit - the only good way to eat squirrel is in a pot pie when it's slow cooked.  Still not worth the hassle though

Yeah, but get past that and the comparison is uncanny.

1) They changed teams

2) ???

He's one of the few RBs I love in this class to pair with Gainwell. Thunder & Lightning 2.0

Peter King on Cowherd just now called the Eagles short yardage rugby play 'stupid' and 'not what the league was meant to be.' And that he'd be shocked if the NFL didn't outlaw it next season.

Those guys can pound sand. Hell, the NFL practically evolved from rugby.

If they outlaw assisting a runner from behind 30% of running plays should end up getting flagged.

Early or late 1st Round?

What characteristics make him that attractive?

His football smarts , he knows how to play the position , and he does it with swag , I like that he doesn’t shy away from contact when playing the run . He could stand to add a cpl pounds

It's going to be hilarious when they ban the tush push and it has absolutely no affect because Hurts will just sneak it by himself anyway
