Ghost Town … ball park is empty

Do you see the disconnect between you comments and reality?

What percentage of capacity is a ghost town?  Single digits?

What percentage of capacity is an empty house?  Low single digits?

Less than 10K… watch an Oakland game for reference.

Except the year before josh Allen had a good year passing, or at least better.

Richardson was just brutal as a passer his whole brief college career.

At least Allen had 1 good year passing on tape.

When Eagles OC Brian Johnson was the OC of Florida,  Anthony Richardson had a passer rating of 228.4.

As a 3rd string QB that year,  he almost never played.  But 228.4 is not brutal.   228.4 is great.

I like the career rushing yards per carry of 6.9.

I can't think of a college running QB with a better career rushing yards per carry of 6.9.   And when you add 4.43 and 244,  I'm going to take the high ceiling guy.  10 Ras at QB, WR, and RB.  I'm going to take that.   If he's at the versatile back spot,  he's definitely a better choice than Mailata at that spot.   If I'm the Eagles,  I'd trade up to get him, even if it's way outside the box.   How often can you get that, if that's something you'd want?  Maybe you don't want that.  Maybe there are more pressing needs,  like backup OL, who needs to be ready in 2-5 years after Kelce or Lane stop wanting to be great in the NFL.

I would want Anthony Richardson on the field week 1 taking snaps from Quez.  Have him throw from that "Left Halfback" slot, whereever that guy lines up.   Split wide left or right,  at a Tailback spot.   QB factory?   Who in the NFL knows Anthony Richardson best?   Arguably,  Eagles OC Brian Johnson.   I was impressed by the final drive led by Anthony Richardson in the Cotton Bowl against Oklahoma.  1 27 yard run,  1 27 yard TD pass,  other good runs.   That was most of what he did that year,  and it was good. Anthony Richardson QB and Brian Johnson OC.

full game,  Brian Johnson's last game as OC.  Richardson is lined up as a WR here.

You mean that 228.4 when he threw TWO passes? One for a TD and one for an INT. So we’re supposed to regard you as some futurist genius OC wannabe but you can’t even read a stat line?

No. I’m convinced it’s bath salts.

Sixers by comparison, also in a 30 team league, have averaged a better 14th in attendance during the same time period and half of those years an open and intentional tank to lose as many games as possible took place.  Phillies have a mostly fairweather fanbase.  It is what it is.

sixers attendance from 2007 to 2017… clearly aren’t frontrunners

2007: 29th

2008: 23rd

2009: 23rd

2010: 26th

2011: 25th

2012: 14th

2013: 17th

2014: 29th

2015: 30th

2016: 28th

2017: 18th

meanwhile first year embiid and Simmons played together was the 17-18. Here’s their attendance since

2018: 3rd

2019: 1st

2020: 1st

2021: 2nd

2022: 2nd

2023: 2nd

no frontrunning fans there…

let me also point out the year the sixers went to the finals and the 3 years after when they were still a playoff caliber team they were 5th, 3rd, 4th and 4th. The two years after that run where they were 6 games  above .500 and under .500 they went from 11th to 21st. So sixers fans fit into your frontrunner argument

Cool they are both front runners. however i don’t see you running your mouth about the sixers fans. The numbers tell you they are the definition of that. So do you wanna start talking about the Sixers fans being front runner fans. I’ll wait for it.

here you go the definition of a frontrunning fan base:

the sixers went to the finals and the 3 years after when they were still a playoff caliber team they were 5th, 3rd, 4th and 4th. The two years after that run where they were 6 games  above .500 and under .500 they went from 11th to 21st. Then averaged 25th for 5 years. So when they were good they were averaging 4th in attendance. Then when they fell off they were 25th. This is frontrunning…

I’ve had those thoughts for quite a while.

Jokes on you guys. Mike Vrabel scored 10 TD’s on 10 receptions in 9 games. Extrapolated over a full season he’d be at 19 catches for 19 TD’s. Idiots.

Vrabel is a front runner receiver. He’s only plays WR when he catches tds.

Sixers haven't been to the finals since 01.  They haven't made it past the second round of the playoffs since that finals run. Yet since 2018 they have finished no worse than 3rd in attendance in the league every season.  In fact after 2018 it's been first or second in attendance every year. Phillies just made the World Series yet were in the bottom half of league attendance last year at 16 despite being the largest market in the league with only one baseball team.  With how they will predictably be as inconsistent this year as they have been in years past and be around a .500 baseball team come June and July this year they again are going to be middle of thr pack attendance wise and then I'd they make the playoffs suddenly everyone will be huge Phillies fans filling the ball park all decked out in Phillies gear.

You can probably look at the Flyers over thr past 10 years as well and get better league average attendance in that period than thr Phillies and that organization inaction has done nothing but try to kill off its fanbase in this city.

Great job making excuses up for the sixers fans. Cool. So you are full of crap. Good to know.

meanwhile sixers during the 2007-2017 decade averaged 25th in attendance over that time when they weren’t very good. Meanwhile they got good again with embiid and they came back to watch them. I’d bet when embiid is gone and they suck again their attendance pattern follows. Go ahead keep making excuses up for the fact the sixers fans don’t go to games unless they are good.

Why don't you? You made the claim.

Some free agents left that the Eagles should kick the tires on:

RB - Kareem Hunt

WR - Jarvis Landry, T.Y. Hilton

DE - Yannick Ngakoue, Frank Clark

LB - Rashaan Evans, Deion Jones

S - Adrian Amos, Rodney McLeod

They are both front runners if you want to make the argument.

Look over the last 23 years of the Sixers and their fans. the finals year and the 4 years after the finals when they were still good they were top-five in attendance on average. Then there was a decade where they weren’t very good or really bad and they were 25th. And then they got Joel Embiid playing a full season with Ben Simmons, they jumped from 25th to 2nd borderline 1st over 6 years. So sixers fans only show up when they’re good. the sixers only once in the last 6 years finished outside of top 4 in the conference and were considered legit contenders heading into the season in 5 of 6 of those years.

phillies attendance is similar. When they are good fans show up and when not it looks eerily similar to the sixers fans

Hunt is an odd one. You’d think he would have an ok market but there has been nothing out there about him.
