Hunt is an odd one. You’d think he would have an ok market but there has been nothing out there about him.

I’m also surprised John Johnson is still available. I rather have him over mcleod and Amos

I feel the same way. I wonder if there is still a perception of him that he's a bad person. He is 27 but considering he has split work with Chubb in recent years he should have a couple of good years left in him. I have always been a huge fan of his talent and running style.

Lamar’s mom is his agent too

Are you on crack?

The year he had a 228 passer rating he attempted 2 passes.

someone said that he was awful.

I pointed out that his passer rating of 228 was great.

I was arguing against something specific. That he was "brutal".  And it simply was not true.

He played almost never, but he did play in that Cotton Bowl and he did play well, not brutal, but well.

And he did this with Brian Johnson as his OC.

You mean that 228.4 when he threw TWO passes? One for a TD and one for an INT. So we’re supposed to regard you as some futurist genius OC wannabe but you can’t even read a stat line?

No. I’m convinced it’s bath salts.

Just because he can doesn't mean he does so well

He's ok as a backup, he's a little too small length wise to be a consistent starter at tackle and a little too small weight wise to be a consistent starter at OG.

Some thought his best position in the Pros might be center, if I remember one year he took some summer snaps there but seems they've moved away from Driscoll the center.

He's valuable in that he could possibly play all 5 positions in a pinch but that value decreases when he isn't available to play any as he's oft injured.

Are you talking about Driscoll or Skoronski?

Sorry Driscoll.

I know almost nothing about Skoronski except that his arms are too short to play tackle.

In the video,  Richardson at QB starts at 2:13 near the end.

Just take the L. You tried to use that stat with a sample size of TWO passes as some kind of debate winner. Nobody in an NFL front office buys into your ridiculous offensive philosophy. You tout it as if you’re some kind of genius when in reality you sound utterly ludicrous.

Every time you post these long-winded rants about "freak beasts” or putting Jordan Mailata at fullback, or draft Anthony Richardson at 10 to convert him to a wideout because his RAS is so high, I immediately think of Billy Madison.

If we drafted Nolan Smith at 10, how would we feel with deonte banks at 30?

I said he was brutal as a passer last year.

You brought up him having a 228 passer rating under Brian Johnson, that year he attempted 2 passes.

The next year he played ok nothing special

Redshirt SO. Last year, he regressed as a passer. Super inconsistent.

He's a great athlete, he's super raw as a QB, runs out of pocket early, scatter shot accuracy, not much touch on his passes inconsistent deep ball, doesn't see the field well, bails out of the pocket early instead of letting plays develop, but he's a freak athlete with a big arm and some coach will fall in love with the eye popping athleticism and think they can mold him into a duel threat QB.

I'm not saying he can't or won't I'm saying the eagles have zero reasons to draft him at 10 if he were there.

He's never shown he can play WR or RB, having a high rushing ave. as a QB is a lot different than having one as an actual QB and one doesn't spend a top 10 pick on a QB to turn him into a HB/WR/ whatever...

I'm just not sure what your obsession is with drafting Richardson at 10 to be a gadget player???

It's getting to the point where I'm starting to wonder if you have special needs or are a Troll???

He's serious. He's been posting this nonsense for years, he is obsessed with making linemen into a RB, TE or QB.

He calls them Superweapons.

Oof. This will be a tough one to come back from. Might be the nail in the coffin.

I'm RIGHT here.

You're WRONG.

A 228.4 passer rating is great.

Someone said he sucked.   I said he didn't.

He didn't.

Is something so wrong with your brains that you can't recognize that a 228.4 passer rating doesn't suck?

Maybe you don't know what college passer ratings are normally?

He didn't play much at all in 2020.  So, not many throws or runs or anything because not play much.  Someone said he sucked and he didn't.

Here it is again,  at 2:13,  Anthony Richardson at QB.

And it looks pretty great to me.

Not sure deonte Banks lasts that long but Id be fine with that, dude is a plus athlete.

I'm not sure how Nolan Smith fits with the eagles?

Some talking head said they thought he might be able to play ILB but that's quite the projection and not something one uses the 10 pick on especially since we all know Howie isn't drafting a ILB at 10.

If Howie and co view him as an edge and hope he can put in some lbs then yeah I could see them selecting him at 10 as they value DE.

Banks though at 30 would be a steal.

Which is the bigger projection?

Nolan Smith ILB at #10

Anthony Richardson QB at #4

Hey numbnuts, are you doubling down on your passer rating stat? It was for a season in which he threw TWO PASSES, one for a TD and one for an INT. I hope the mic you just dropped bounces back up and smacks you in the head. Maybe that will get more than two synapses firing for you.

I'd say Nolan Smith at ILB, he's been an edge his whole college career no?

Playing off Ball and On ball LB are two totally different skill sets and I'm not sure Smith has the instincts to play inside off ball?

He definitely has the athletic profile to do so but so does Davion Taylor and that dudes useless

Some guys can make the transition, Matthews started as an edge defender then played inside, I remember once when JJ due to injury put gocong at MLB and while he had the size he sucked there.  Not Oddly when he went to Cleveland he did a lot better at ILB and OLB in their 34 D

If the eagles ran a 34 I'd be all over Nolan Smith but I don't think they're making that transition.

I dont think Richardson is worth the 4th overall pick but at least he'd be projected as a QB a position he actually played unlike smith who doesn't have much if any at ILB.

I really like Smith though, and I can't see Howie using 10 on him unless he views him as a DE that needs to get bigger.

Howie talked about getting ahead of trends and getting a special talent. Some thought he was talking about Robinson but he could be talking about Smith and lighter edges being a new trend. Maybe

Just sharing some goodness and off topic. A former student. Her performance starts at 2:31:40. She won the national undergraduate trumpet competition. Wonderful performance.

I actually thought about that when watching the podcast, I thought exactly the same thing, could he be thinking of taking a guy like Smith at 10 to be an edge rusher? Then again Howie was talking about using later picks in that instance to try and get a head of trends, pick 10 is pretty high to use an unconventional pick.

If he did it would be a bit of a redshirt season for him, but I wouldn't be mad, Trent Cole was like 240 when drafted, he didn't play much as a rookie until the end if that year then he got up to 270 and was a beast.

Not sure if Nolan Smith has the frame to put in 20 pounds or if the coaches would want him too.

I've seen some comparisons for Nolan Smith to Parsons but I don't really see it size and body type wise, I thought Parsons was the best player in that draft and most teams had him projected as an ILB but after a couple weeks Dallas said forget that this guy is a demon off the edge and turned him loose so maybe Howie could see the impact Parsons had and see the same from Nolan which is fine except Hassan Reddick currently occupies that role so🤷‍♂️

I had no idea there was such a competition.

I have zero musical talent but I really appreciate those that do, I have no idea how impressive or not this performance is as she could be playing the kazoo and I'd probably be blown away.

Good on her, good on you👍
