If you watch the interview with Bednarick, he clarified that he had no idea that Gifford was there. He made the play, stood up and fist pumped as he said "this effing game is over!”

Youre splitting hairs.  The fact is he said the game was over, it actually wasn't over yet.  It was obvious trash talking and he had just nearly ended the mans career with that hit, Gifford spent almost 2 weeks in thr hospital

I'm all in on Myles Murphy at slot WR, since he runs a faster 40 time than JSN.

Another good example, actually. Did this happen at the end of a championship game? Was it in Gifford's face? I think this one ticks all the boxes.

Yep, and Reese didnt even knock Clark unconscious or put her in thr hospital or anything.

Agree, the mentality to want to rub it in after a game is all but decided is indeed immature and classless. But one that Clark seems to be all too familiar with...

Ummm...didn't see anything in the video you posted that would suggest any taunting.

Looks like two athletes talking during a game🤷‍♂️

He's literally standing over him.

Found the video.. He said initially he didn't know where he was because the ball came loose but then he turned back around while standing over him. You're reaching, bro.

I’m not reaching, just saying what Bednarick said in the past. Not defending or saying he was right.

My 2 cents on the whole Clark/Reese thing.  What Reese did was over the top and a bit classless, but Clark was showboating the whole tournament and kinda asked for it.  She f'd around and found out, basically.

Can someone do me a favor?  Can you please list all of the actual pillars of the blog so I know who to make the most fun of in here?  Thanks in advance.

It's the guys that were on here long before even I was that made discussions in the blog great. Guys that spent a lot of time following football. Some of them are still here and some have moved onto writing gigs elsewhere. I'm not going to list their names because none of them think of themselves as pillars. That said they are the ones that started the blog years ago and deserve to be better thought of than some joke among folks that have trouble writing 3 coherent sentences about football.

PS I am not one of them

You're misquoting him and leaving the part out where he said he turned back around and stood over Frank. It's right there in the video. Come on now.

For what it’s worth, I don’t think the idea of Carter slipping out of the top 10 is all that far-fetched based on what I know about where teams stand on him. He’s probably the best player at any position in this year’s class. In fact, a bunch of evaluators I really respect considered him the best prospect on the 2021 Georgia defense, when he was just a sophomore and the Bulldogs had five ’22 first-rounders on that side of the ball alone. But there are enough off-field concerns about Carter to scare teams out of investing a top-10 pick in him.

Oh so now we're gonna split hairs between taunting and trash talking while pretending one is completely acceptable and the other is abhorrent.

Taunting is okay as long as the dude being taunted looks like he's dead.

Wonder if he falls back into top 10 discussion. I used to see him listed as a top 10 pick but since have seen him anywhere before 25.

Following someone around in the closing moments of an game that is over and won waving your hand in their face and pointing to your finger while continuing to follow them is absolutely different than a player during a game having an exchange with another player, esipecially in the clip you posted it looks as if clarke is directing whatever she's saying to the ref or the call, she barely even looks Van liths way, she  definitely didn't follow her around taunting her, nor did she say anything to media afterwards or on social media that would give the media and public and chance for fake outrage

I never said Reese's behavior was abhorrent, I'm not sure I said anything about her other than she should show some class in victory.

She's put herself right up there with JuJu as poor winners and like juJu she'll be irrelevant In a week or so.

No, not looks like he's dead but if he's dead it's ok...😉😄

They were up by 15 with 3 min left. That game was pretty much over too. And she's absolutely talking trash to the other player. Why would she tell the ref he's up by 15 pts and then to shut up?  You guys are twisting yourselves into pretzels on this.

Tend to agree here, and notice Clark isn't the one who has said she had a problem with anything Reese said or did.

Clarke simply said, I didn't see it.

Which is pretty clever and funny response in retrospect whether she meant it to be or not.

Just a point out if it were the other way around with concrete Charlie and Frank Gifford, where Gifford was standing over concrete Charlie said what he did, doing the same actions and Charlie didn’t move and had a major concussion from the hit a majority of Eagles fan would be saying it was classless all these years later.

let me just point out Nick Foles got sacked by thibodeaux this year and Thibodeaux celebrated as foles laid there in pain and we all called it classless

Most entertaining and newsworthy part of the entire NCAAW tourney was a catfight 🤣

Did the white girl complain or is all the fuss coming from everyone but the 2 players?

Honestly the biggest i had with that game as the officiating was dogcrap and i don’t know how mulkey didn’t get a tech at all in that game. She was yelling at an official, did a gesture right in the officials face and then touched the official to get his attention to make a case about her grievance. Yet they called a tech for clark throwing a basketball behind her back lol. Like we complain about officials in every sport but watching both tournaments college basketball by far has the worse officiating

Twisting myself into pretzels how?

I'm not the one who posted some random non descript video of a basketball game where a few athletes are standing around talking to each other the same way that happens 40 million times during every basketball game.

There's absolutely nothing out of the ordinary or that would be considered unsportsmanlike or over the top about the video you posted.

I was honestly confused by the video like maybe you posted the wrong one or maybe I missed something because the video is just so blah, nothing happens, Clarke glances at van lith for like a mili second and van lith doesn't even react either.

Nobody is taunting anyone ,nobody looks mad at each other, I'm guessing there wasn't a media blitz about it after wards nobody took to social media afterwards to talk about how hood they were, like I said it was an every game normal interaction.

Following someone around in the closing minutes of a game trying to taunt them isn't normal, nor does it exhibit class, justifying said classlessness by saying I'm hood, doesn't excuse said classlessness.

Mind you Clarke isn't the one who said anything about any of it, she didn't bring it to the media or whine about it, she simply said she didn't see it, which is a pretty funny response if you ask me.

Reese will get her 5 minutes of fame, apparently you're all for it enjoy it she'll be as irrelevant as JuJu in a week.

Second one.  Although I think the girl who did the taunting pulled out a race card already .... I may be mistaken, though.

The video was a retort to the fact that a major aspect of the taunting was that it was at the end of a game to rub it in the opponent's face. In the video, you can see Clark engaging in the exact same behavior. No she wasn't talking to the ref, which is so bizarre I can't even begin to comprehend how that thought bubbled up in your head. And yes, the fact that it's ordinary and happens a million times is precisely my point. You trying to act like trash talking and taunting are completely different is one of the funniest things I've read about this whole situation.
