Tbh they aren’t. I don't think they get enough consistency from Harris, tucker and their bench. The difference between Milwaukee and Boston vs. the sixers is they can go 8-9 deep and really the drop off isn’t catastrophic nor will they be worn down later in a series. Sixers need maxey, harden and embiid to play great every game to win. I think Boston and Milwaukee need Gianni’s and Tatum to play well but if they aren’t great they have enough talent down the roster that can make up for it. Sadly Harris, tucker, niang, mcdaniels and shake really aren’t consistent enough to provide that. It’s why Harris becoming an expiring contract this offseason (last year of his deal so easier to move) is helpful in reshaping the roster so they have more depth and likely more formidable roster

I know they aren’t. I was just giving him crap.

Theres only one team in Philly legitimately capable of winning a title IMO.

i think Phillies were before hoskins got hurt (that lineup with harper back and hoskins healthy might have been the best in baseball) and the pitching staff decided to take the year off apparently.

People aren’t gonna like it and I wouldn’t be doing backflips but I’d be ok with skoronski. If he lives up to some of the comps some analysts have made to zack Martin that’s a hell of a player. Plus you’d have 4 out of your 5 offensive line spots solved for the foreseeable future. add on he likely comes in day 1 and competes for the starting RG spot with jurgens. Imo there’s a chance he’s capable of being an upgrade as a rookie from what seumalo was. And that’s not a shot at seumalo cause i think he was underrated by a lot of eagles fans.

It's not rocket science or even based on any inside info. It would be very anti-Howie's MO to say something like that without knowing who else is on the board, what trade options there are as well as all how all the other moving parts fall into place. DJ doesn't even know how the interview went or how they view his character either.
