Sixers attempting everything in their power to blow this

You hate losing arguments, don't you?

Ad hominem attacks are an admission of defeat.

What argument did I lose exactly? An argument presumes that there are two viable sides. Your side isn’t viable. All this constant nonsense about players playing 2 or 3 different positions. Nobody is "arguing” with you because that implies that any of us are doing anything other than laughing at you.

HOLY crap!  The Sixers are really going to blow this game

Yup they can’t beat Boston without throwing the game away. Although that was a flop by Williams

Good night in Philly. Phillies won, sixers won and flyers lost.

Will be absolute robbery and pure Philly hate if he doesn't win it after tonight.

PB:Chocolate ratio is way Fd up in those. No good. Theres nothing better than the original cup, and the mini cups. Dont mess around with any other shapes, they all suck.

The reason I like the eggs is because you know they're fresh because they're only made for Easter. I prefer the original cups, that slight crispness of the ridges makes it a whole other level better. The problem is these days I'd say 7/10 times I buy a bag from the supermarket, the peanut butter inside is stale. It's crumbly and starts to fade in color and the flavor really fades. If you get a batch though where the PB is super fresh, colorful and has that fresh roasted flavor you can't beat em. The eggs always have that because they haven't been sitting around for who knows how long somewhere.

I agree but at 10 I’d much prefer someone with higher upside and who’s main purpose for being drafted isn’t that of a security blanket for 2-3 seasons

I understand but the Eagles love to take guys who play in the trenches on both sides of the ball, which is why this pick wouldn't shock me. I'm trying to think like Howie.

People don't want Skoronski because they want a sexy pick at 10. It's that simple. I'm no expert but based on everything I have read and researched there is a chance he's the best player available at 10 and it's at a premium position. Eagles fans hate drafting OL, but they sure love when the team wins in large part because they have had one of the best OL's in football overall over the last 20 years or so. Would Skoronski excite me, not even a little bit. Would I have a problem with him as the pick, not at all.

If there was an immediate need at LT or RT then people would like it. Maybe I’m just speaking for myself but I think most people don’t want to use the 10th pick on a guard because he can also be a backup tackle… It’s not like when Quenton Nelson went 6 and he was basically already an All-Pro guard

I like the cups but the bottom almost always sticks to the paper which is a bummer. Eggs come out fully intact 99.99% of the time.

I am not saying you take him over every player. However, if the board falls and he is your best player available with the highest ceiling, I have no problems with them going in that direction.

I think skoronski can be a very good guard as a rookie. Two things: what if he happens to be as good or better than seumalo as a rookie? that’s an upgrade for the Eagles. That said i don’t think annyone replacing seumalo is gonna be as good or better.  also insurance if Jurgens isn’t able to play guard like they initially thought or just simply better.

Also what is the plan now that Dillard is in Tennessee if  Johnson gets hurt. lane Johnson has not been the epitome of health. In the last 4 years lane has played 12, 7, 13 and 15 games. Meaning he’s missed a quarter or more of the season in 3 of 4 seasons and this year he didn’t but played through a major injury. So if lane  does go down what are you doing out right tackle? right now Driscoll who also doesn’t stay healthy. The Eagles record when Lane goes out is bad.  if you think skoronski can be the future at RT as a worthy eventual replacement for Lane with stoutland’s blessing, insurance for lane as a rookie, productive at RG (possibly insurance for jurgens l) as a rookie that’s isn’t a bad move especially if their board doesn’t have a better player than him.

i haven’t even brought up what if stoutland just absolutely loves the kid as a prospect? You gonna tell stoutland no if he is actually the best player on the board?

im not saying i love the kid. I don’t. I like him but i definitely think if the 4 QBs go and Wilson,Anderson, Carter and the 2 CBs are off the board then you are faced with with the potential it’s coming down to smith, skoronski, Broderick jones, Paris johnson or van ness. Imo in another draft i don’t think any of those guys are going 10

And the part that sticks is always a smaller circle than the circumference of the whole cup. It's usually the circumference of the peanut butter center. Probably because it's denser in the inner middle or something so it's more likely to stick.

If a non-mauling interior OL who was a collegiate OT in need of a move inside is the BPA at 10, then it's the least talented board at #10 overall in draft history.

Agreed.  Skoronski will never be the BPA at #10 unless the NFL allows 22 picks before #10

(Excluding the 4 QBs that might go top 10). After Carter, Anderson, Gonzalez, Witherspoon and Wilson are all off the board the list of 5-7 players that can go in any order after. So if those guys and the 4 Qbs get drafted that’s your top 9. Skoronski is definitely in the mix of the next 5-7 players it could be. This isn’t a great draft to be picking 10 cause the talent if those guys are off the board is very very similar form 10-22. Heck I’ve looked at mock drafts all day skoronski is going as high a 9 and in most cases somewhere from 9-17 and a lot 9-12 area

tbh i think there’s a chance the eagles look at being at 10 thinking we aren’t gonna be picking this high again for a while so they try trading up and getting an impact player like a Carter, Witherspoon, Gonzalez or Wilson. And at 30 trade back to get picks back

Dude, why are you not coaching in the league…

that's what he did in high school.

"played defensive tackle, tight end and punter for Apopka, leading the Blue Darters to a 12-1 record, No. 5 state ranking, and appearance in the FHSAA Class 8A Championship Game in his senior season"

I'm generally not making this stuff up, I'm generally pulling from the college bios, and the high school section is on the bios

if you type name of player and college into google,  the college bio is often the first result.  Maybe there's an algo that custom tailors your results. but it's really easy to access what they did in high school.

About Carter specifically,  I'd like to see the combine or pro day numbers,  see that RAS,  My process includes those numbers.  with a 1/10,  you should be able to get excellent RAS as well as good play,  awards and such.

Why stop at high school? Pee Wee positions matter.

That’s an absolutely stupid thing to be upset about. Why should anyone guard a player who can’t make an outside shot when South Carolina has the best offensive rebounding team in the country?

That’s called a smart defensive game plan. What an awful defense of Reese’s nonsense.

Did you hear the pregame dialogue on the subject.  There was plenty of spark there regardless of whether it was a good strategy or not.
