Why stop at high school? Pee Wee positions matter.

I find data that's really easy to find.  Sometimes I dig a little more.  Typically not.

do a google search, college bio right at the top.  scroll to the bottom of the college bio.  that'll tell you if they did anything but just 1 position.

Not difficult.   then check to see if there is anything on youtube doing that thing, maybe.  here's Jalen Carter playing defense and offense.  Mind boggling, crazy.  Actually somewhat common.  College rosters are bigger than NFL rosters, and the need for versatility is more present in the NFL.

Can't be. I was told by some random slob on the internet that Skoronski is the 20th best player in the draft.

Yeah he’s gonna go somewhere in the teens and he might sneak into the top 10 (i doubt he doe but kind of think he goes 10-14 range). The eagles drafted dillard. Not only drafted him, moved up to get him cause they viewed him as a top 15 player and said they didn’t have as much info cause they didn’t think he’d be there. he wasn’t considered a mauler and had major concerns in the run blocking when he came out. Add on had lane and peters for at least another year and he couldn’t play any other position at the time besides LT. he had more red flags about him after sheil came out with reports from coaches and his parents about not exactly loving football. If stoutland loves the kid and he is their highest ranked player he’s definitely in play. Again I’ve looked at a bunch of mock drafts and draft boards after guys like (non QBs involved here) Anderson, Carter, Gonzalez, Witherspoon and Wilson he’s right there in the next tier with 4-6 other players.

Bummed Neal went to Tampa Bay.

Was hoping it'd be a Howie surprise.

My guess is Jill is just trying to include everyone.  But yeah it's weird.

Frankly, I wonder if it was a clumsy attempt to appease Iowa residents after the switch to SC as the lead primary from Iowa’s caucus for the Democrats rather than any "including everyone”.  Cynic in me wonders if the same approach would have happened if SC was the final loser.  The whole SC/Iowa factor is a bit ironic looking at it from that perspective.  The inclusion theory reeks of a participation ribbon to me.  Guess the Eagles are still waiting for that invite as are the Phillies. Didn’t see anything about an Aztecs invite either.  I mean, she didn’t propose it for last year’s tournament loser.  The whole invite thing is grandstanding and really hasn’t had much impact on me since the Gump Dr. Pepper incident.

Wait til he finds out Carter played basketball in 6th grade and the Sixers need bench help.

Mike Florio is garbage.  What a terrible take.  Essentially, because teams might question Carter about his legal issues it might lead to mental health problems and stress from being asked the same questions over and over again.

Somehow, Florio is projecting Carter a victim of his own actions just because teams that will potentially be giving him generational wealth want to know what happened and what kind of person he is.

I'm gonna push back the next time I have a job interview. What a dope

Chad Reuter trade idea:

Eagles get 23, 87, 1st in 2024

Vikings get 10

Thats trash for the Eagles in my opinion.

People don't want Skoronski because they want a sexy pick at 10. It's that simple. I'm no expert but based on everything I have read and researched there is a chance he's the best player available at 10 and it's at a premium position. Eagles fans hate drafting OL, but they sure love when the team wins in large part because they have had one of the best OL's in football overall over the last 20 years or so. Would Skoronski excite me, not even a little bit. Would I have a problem with him as the pick, not at all.

I don't want him at 10 because I don't think he's worth the pick. It has nothing to do with sex.😚

Run to the podium if that's offered. No-brainer.

Vikings have the potential to be really bad next year.

It's been done before. I don't pay any attention to Florio but I have no problem with a player trying to control his fate. It may be a mistake, sure, but I sympathize with the player, any player, who does this.

Probably just to weigh him on their own scales since his weight is unbelievable.

The dumb thing with that stance is they quietly discouraging any team lower not to trade for him.  On a player who seems require maturing off of the field, it's even dumber

I think Carter is a little late to the "I want to control my own fate" party. Maybe don't go drag racing after a night in a strip club if you want to control your own fate?

That's all true. What it boils down to I think, is that he believes he's a top-10 pick and wants to be paid accordingly.. As a business decision, it seems less egregious to me than what Elway or Manning did.

I sympathized with them too.

I don't think Florio appreciates the money incentive that comes with this opportunity to visit and interview.  The higher the player gets drafted, the more money he makes.

Travon Walker got a job that pays him $9.34M per year, as the #1 overall pick.

Garrett Wilson got a job that pays him $5.13M per year, as the #10 overall pick.

Lewis Cine got a job that pays him $2.87M per year as the #32 overall pick.

The difference between #1, #10, and sliding all the way to #32 (or worse) more than justifies the "hardship" these guys have to endure in the process.
