I saw this question posted somewhere else, but in the last 20 years what RBs would you take in the top 10? There's maybe 2-3 I think would be worthy of a top 10 pick. Adrian Peterson, Steven Jackson, and Frank Gore? And none of them have a SB to their name.

Depends on what you mean by that question.

Top 10 in the draft they were in? Top 10 if they were in this draft? There is a lot of variables. A lot of good RBs get drafted by bad teams or teams with bad QBs.

For this team and this year I would pick the 3 you mentioned, Henry, Barkley, McCaffrey, Gurley, Johnson, Zeke, Lynch, McCoy.

I’m comfortable taking Robinson at 10 because of the team we have, the other 1st, the potential cap space we have next year, and the amount of picks we have next year. Not to mention I’m not really thrilled with the other options at 10 besides Witherspoon.

You've never seen that movie?

It's called, Crazy people, Dudley Moore is an Ad guy and checks himself into a mental institution and enlists a bunch of the residents to work on his Ad accounts...

It's pretty funny stuff, Darryl Hannah is the love interest in it, Paul Riser is in it as well.

Great movie

Interesting. So long as he is willing to accept that he is forfeiting the ability to get new guaranteed money in his prime, I guess we don’t care (I just want to avoid a TO-type situation).

The compromise then I guess is that his APY would be close to $55m/year. A higher APY doesn’t hurt us so much in this scenario.

It’s Dan Sileo. I’ve produced things that came out my body more credible than him.

Kancey is frequently compared to Donald but the comparison does not, um, hold. Donald's arms are more than two inches longer. He'll be an easy mark for NFL linemen to block. Don't want at all.

If we can come away with Carter and Torrence, I'll be a happy guy.

come up with a RAS compare of Aaron Donald and another DL who is closer to Donald than Kancey.

Kancey is not identical to Donald.  SHORT ARMS!!!!!!!!  Also Kancey is faster than the future HoFer.

Just, a lot of teams over the last 10 years who tried to find a Donald clone, but those players are hard to find, impossible even, and even the players who are sold as Donald clones aren't really all that close.

As close as you can find to Aaron Donald in this draft.  As close as you can find to future Hall Of Famer Donald in any draft.   Faster than Aaron Donald.  More agile than Aaron Donald.  SSSSSHHHHOOOORRRTTTT AAAARRRRRMMMMMSSSS !!!!!!!!

Fact is that 281 pounds + 1.58 10 split + 6.82 3 cone is great. Kancey has a great 3 cone for a running back.

I feel like Vick’s Eagles run gets wayyyy overrated by a lot of people, especially when they want to put him in the "great” category. Guy had one good season here, saved them from Kolb flopping, had memorable games against Washington in the Monday night massacre and the Giants comeback. Got knocked out in the 2010 playoffs by GB, then fell flat in 2011 when expectations were massive with the Dream Team. He’s closer to Wentz than he is Donovan and Foles. Hell, Hurts has already surpassed him through two full seasons starting.

You can't just focus on how he played on the field which was pretty good in and of itself. You have to take into account the story as well. This was a guy who completely turned his career and life around and went from a thug and a villain to a rehabilitated man and leader. He became a true role model for young black men on and off the field which was incredible considering where he was before his second chance.

Did you trade down to get 31st?

No 31st in their draft is the next to the last pick.  Only KC is later … at #32

Interesting mock draft based on the betting markets.

I would trade down if the top 9 goes like that.

Also, dude straight up forget Myles Murphy. No chance he doesn't go top 20.

And bijan Robinson. No chance he’s there day 2

He has Murphy at 18.  But, yeah, I feel you.  I was 100% prefer Murphy over Van Ness.  Definitely Witherspoon as well

Not pictured but I also grabbed a TE in the 7th + Tampa Bay’s 1st next year

Wow, I deserve to be roasted. Also I would agree with you, Murphy over Van Ness.

It wasn’t originally reported by him it could be that way. Was according to the athletic’s Mike sando

Nah, was weird that Murphy was so low.  Van Ness just does absolutely nothing for me.  For his size and athletic ability he should pop more. Murphy has got some moves and power.  Murphy over Van Ness every day of the week.  I would take Nolan Smith over him too.  He just looks average and you don't take average guys at 10.

Dan Sileo is still terrible. Jakib media isn't bad but they need to upgrade that time slot badly. He is so amateurish that he has some fat slob youtuber as a guest on his show as if he is some expert.

He’s got Robinson going 16 to Washington.

I see that it was a mistake to engage with you. I apologize to one and all and promise not to do it again.

I guess Bijan has to go somewhere, but is it a smart move to take a RB for team going nowhere - well I mean it's probably good for Sam Howell.

If I was going to guess, I think Bill B. might appreciate a top back so that would be my top-20 landing spot.

I go back and forth on the edge players based on what my guess is about Desai - if he goes with a 3-4/5-1 base then I think Nolan can get on the field with Reddick, if we play a fair amount of hybrid I like LVN's versatility and 4-3 base Murphy.

Probably means nothing, but every jersey is on sale on PE.com.

I know the new wordmark isn't on jerseys until 2024.

Either way, if you're looking for a jersey, prices are really good right now.

Well let’s hold on one minute. Silz came he actually saw the contract. So there’s that.

He made his own mess, I wouldnt factor any of that stuff into my analysis of him as far as where he ranks as an Eagle QB.

Hes lucky AR has a soft spot for garbage human beings and gave him a chance.  One of the toughest guys Ive ever had to root for in my Eagles fandom.

Caplan doesn't think Howie takes a CB at 10 regardless of who is there. That would be pretty sad if the case. It's the strength of the draft and there is very good top end talent that will be there at ten too.
