Forbes is easily the best ballhawk in the draft , no weakness when it comes to defending the pass and his versatility

I think his tackling issues can get better , it’s a problem with form and not attitude , gets overly aggressive and sells out , no doubt he’s willing

Agreed - but how does he do against AJ Brown?  He has good length, but you might worry that he'd get big-boyed at the next level where the WRs are better and the QBs more aggressive.

Warming up to him in RD2 if he falls that far.

The man is a magnet to the football.

His weight at ~166lbs is concerning, but I imagine he could tack on a few lbs and maintain his play speed.

Just concerned he gets bullied at the LOS

Not only a ballhawk but 6 pick 6's too.  That's Ed Reed type of production.

If we don’t draft a DT high, I’d definitely be up for Suh coming back. He wasn’t exactly all-pro out there, but he played pretty well considering he was on his couch for half the season

PE.com held a twitter poll with which former Eagle would you want on this team.  Results image is a great side by side of Midnight Green vs. Nike green.  Seeing the Hurts uniform in the HOF really showcased how teal the current green is.

I probably would've been happier bringing Suh back then paying Fletch $10M to eat snaps, but I imagine if they miss on the early DTs they'll draft a guy like Broderic Martin (top-30 visit?) or Keannu Benton to backup/play along side JD.

I guess some new fans want Shady over Reggie White

Midnight green was the better color, but I was never a fan of the shiny uniforms. So I’d take the teal one, but if we could get the originally intended midnight green color in matte, that’d be awesome.

As for the vote, Reggie White used to play inside on passing downs.

Reddick-Cox-White-Sweat and we’re going undefeated

They saw him play - to be fair I exclude Chuck Bednarik (sp?) from these hypotheticals for the same reason.

Hell Id even take Desean Jackson over Shady.  Imagine him instead of Quez.

He would have caught that SB deep ball backpedaling and flipped into the end zone.

Sadly, Dawkins in the modern day NFL would probably be a penalty machine on Derek Barnett levels.  I'm sure he would adjust his game but so much of his game revolved around his physical impact. Adding Reggie is a fun thought.

Does anyone think in games where they use the kelly green they'll also use the old school end zone scheme too? For black unis they would make the end zones black.

True, just seems like an easy W to take the All Time great.  I cant really picture guys from 50, 60 years ago because the game has changed so much.

Dawk could play on a C3 team like SF, and run around like Hufanga - but yeah, he'd be a SS type and they are few and far between these days.

We're just going to go at it today it looks like!  Not saying Shady over Reggie would be the way to go but I think people forget how good Shady was.  If Miles Sanders was able to get 1,200 behind this line, imagine what Shady could do.  Add to that the fact that he also excelled in the passing game and he brings a whole new dimension to the current Eagles offense.

IMO Dawkins best attributes was that he was maybe the best blitzing safety in NFL history. Couple that with the fact that he was never physically outmatched in any 1v1 versus a ball carrier and he’d improve our run defense a ton at the very least. You look at what a guy like Jamal Adams is asked to do; We could play him in the box to mitigate era issues and he’d still excel

I hope he falls to the Eagles in the 3rd. Would be a good slot guy.

Also, Mort is reporting Bryce Young is the Panthers guy at #1. Runs contrary to what others have heard and are reporting, but Mort is plugged in so we'll see.

Agreed - but sometimes the question gets interpreted into who would you want to see now... the nostalgia takes over.

For sure he'd still excel but I also think some of his best attributes would be handcuffed.

I'd imagine he probably doesn't have any interest in Training Camp and will probably wait until some time midseason again, if he signs at all.

Interesting that Wentz hasn't signed anywhere yet.  Wonder if he's just trying to wait and see if a QB gets injured in training camp so he can sign on as a starter somewhere.

interesting ?  what team even wants him ? he's nothing more than an off the street, desperation signing at this point.

I just read a report he might sign with the Ravens soon but no idea if there's any validity to it.
