You're wrong.  Let that fact sit with you as you exit the convo.

How will I carry on. You clearly bested me on all fronts and are the rightest and brightest of all. It's very hard to keep up with your magnificent intellect and knowledge. Thank you for being such a positive and enlightened voice on the board. Oh, and there is this.

Ladainian? No SB though.

Watching Witherspoon, it looks like he could possibly start at the slot CB which would free up Maddox to play Safety.  Not sure about Gonzalez.  What do you guys think?

I haven't watched nearly enough, but Gonzalez is incredibly raw IMO.  He's a stab in the dark with a high ceiling.  Witherspoon despite the size is a bit more versatile.

Instead of looking at past O models, I wonder if, since Hurts has shown that a college-style QB can be effective in the NFL, looking at the role a RB plays in the success of current college offenses is the better analysis. Not the traditional NFL horse RB that carries the team, but rather the additional matchup problem that when coupled with a running/passing QB is part of a system that is hard to defend.

Home from the hospital after my ureteroscopy.  It’s just as much fun as it sounds.  Finally the end of my 369-day odyssey living with a kidney stone.  First time I’ve been put under since wisdom tooth surgery 35 years ago.  Age certainly makes a difference; felt disoriented longer after waking up, and actually sat in a wheelchair and got pushed to the exit for the ride home.

Very painful after the anaesthetic wore off; felt like they put a stone in instead of taking one out.  Painkillers kicked in after 2.5 hours.

If there’s a next time I might opt for the other lithotripsy.

I feel your pain. Ive had 2 that have both required surgery. Both surgeries were different experiences, equally bad in their own ways. I probably dread the stent just as much as pain from the stone.

Ehh. Branch would be a value pick at 30 based on media big boards. Pick 30 looks pretty weak this year.

I disagree

good edge guys likely to be there and maybe a few tackles

A decent nominee

I would say they didnt win until they put together a defense though

think about how often this approach fails and we usually laugh at those teams for being dumb

what ???? if that were true he'd be signed. he was sat down behind a 3rd stringer last season. he's toast unless a team gets in a bind, period.

I remember Bacarty and a few others saying Wentz was going to thrive in Indy and then thrive in Washington.

Might be the spot to target Ojulari. Adeboware or Mazi Smith would be good too.

One of the TEs. Or RBs. Luxury picks but potential big impact.

Wouldnt mind Branch, or even Sydney Brown there at all.

I thought Wentz would be good in Indy once Reich reprogrammed him.  He was a decent starter there, despite the narrative the Colts put out at the end.  The worst thing he did was refuse to get vaccinated, then of course he contracted COVID with their season on the line and performed poorly in the last two games.

I was much more down on his chances in Washington, mostly because they haven’t had a good QB since Theismann.  Again, Wentz played poorly when the Commanders needed a big performance most.  Rivera should have went to him sooner when the inevitable happened and Heinicke sucked.

Dawk could play on a C3 team like SF, and run around like Hufanga - but yeah, he'd be a SS type and they are few and far between these days.

Prime Dawk is a different story...recency bias plays a role here.  His last 4 or so years here he was hidden and used strategically since his decline was rapid.

Yup.  The happiest news I got was when the surgeon came to speak with me and told me they didn’t need to leave the stent in.

Thats amazing. I tried to hard to tell them not to give me one both times. Both times, woke up with it. Ive had nightmares about the stent.

I figure Dawk as a prospect would be comparable to a Branch/Pitre type now  and that type of Star position role.

Maybe so, but prime Dawk was a different type of player.

I had a ureteral stent when I was going through chemo, my tumor was pushing on my kidneys and my ureter and I had that thing in for almost a year, I hated it more than the chemo and cancer, had to pee ike every half an hour and when I did felt like my bladder was going to explode everytime, almost impossible to hold.

The day I got it out was right up there with the day they told me I was cancer free 😄

Ads on jerseys are the worst. Look at this thing.  Dreading what the Phillies are going to roll out.

I think Dawk is generally underrated by the national media, there were basically 4 guys during Dawks era. Him Reed Lynch and Polomolu and it drives me nuts when national pundits gush over Polomolu, Dawk has better stats in every category and unlike Polomolu was rarely hurt.

I think Polomolu was a great player I think he's also over rated.

Im fine with arguing if Dawk or reed were better most will say Reed and I can see that but I'll always stick up for Dawk, he was a special dude and player

No one other than bucs fans would make the argument that lynch is better than any of them...

Too early for te or rb most likely, but you never know. Funny things happen

other names you list make sense

I see that it was a mistake to engage with you. I apologize to one and all and promise not to do it again.

You lose another argument,  and you're sad.

Again, Kancey is the closest player we've seen to Aaron Donald.   Kancey is quicker and faster, and Donald has longer arms and a great bench.

Watched Ojulari and came away mostly unimpressed, at least in regards to pick 30. So much of his production came on loops and unblocked plays. I’d be fine with him in late round 2.

I wish Will McDonald wasn’t so old. If he were 22, he’d be a top 15 to 20 pick IMO. He has great movement skills.

You weren't here when he wanted to have Mailata play FB and have Hurts as his lead blocker at the goalline.  Great stuff from him.

What?😲

Reglar has somehow made me like RTK more
