We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

So then he def didn't start as a rookie.

Mills? He played 65% of the defensive snaps his rookie year. The only CB who had more was Nolan Carroll.

I’m intrigued by Nick Herbig. Ā He has been mostly a pass rush OLB at Wisconsin, but appears to have the athletic skill mix to be an OLB ( either WIL or SAM). As a pass rusher he is too small to carry a Reddick-like workload, but my guess (projection?) is that he could develop into a decent more traditional LB. Thoughts?

While I on the subject of projections, Campbell has a similar body type as the Mad Stork, Ted Hendricks.

I got Mayer top TE

Tucker Kraft nextĀ

Yes! That’s my guy. Admittedly he runs through some wide open, well-defined holes, but he is definitely a see it and hit it RB. He also has enough patience to let the hole develop and enough physicality that he doesn’t fall over on first contact Ā

I think he’s a pretty ideal fit for our offense.Ā

Ā

I’ve only watched a couple of his highlight videos, but if I like what I see I tend to start watching more of their bigger games. I just haven’t been able to get into it yet. The SB loss is still dragging for me I guess.

Some concerns I have with him is most of his highlights are him running through wide open lanes. I’m not real sure how he does with breaking tackles or how he is in short yardage situations. Will just need to watch some of his full games for a better idea.Ā

Really warming up to DeWayne McBride from UAB. If available and we acquire a 4th I could certainly see him being dominate in this offense.

I know change of direction isn't everything, though it's something I value highly when looking at prospects, because I think it's a good indicator of athletic ability. Cutting is such a huge part of the game of football. When I watch Charbonnet, his change of direction and the ability to cut is so vastly inferior to other RBs in this class. I can't get over it.

Hes pretty good for his size.

He's one of "my guys" in this draft.

Ivan Pace just plays nasty.Ā  This defense needs a dog.Ā  Add Kancey in the 1st and Pace in the 2nd or 3rd and you bring in two guys with a different mindset.Ā  You'd be adding violent players who seem to play wtih hate for the offense.Ā  I would LOVE that.

Now some WOs I like

Trey Palmer

Rashee Rice

Jalin Hyatt

I definitely agree there. Would love to see more toughness and violence in our back seven. It doesn’t seem like our tackling has much stopping power. It’s more wrap and drag.Ā

You and Mary Wells.

@ManuManu

This is a pretty good YouTube channel for RBs.

He does seem to lack a bit of power, but my god can he break a 30+ yard run like it’s nothing. I’d bet a year or 2 of an NFL strength program can help him. He looked like he was the entire offense against Tennessee and VT.Ā

I know there’s better backs in the draft, but I don’t want to spend a 1st on one and am somewhat hesitant about using a 2nd. If he’s there in the 3rd, I’d be all over it.

I also like Tyjae Spears in the later rounds.Ā Zach Evans is a smooth runner, so is Tank Bigsby. Like Deuce Vaughn in the late rounds, could have potential as a returner too.

Jahmyr Gibbs is my favorite RB in this draft, and if he somehow makes it to the 2nd, it may be worth trading up.

later than round 3 for this guy... there are better backs in that range.Ā

Yeah, he’s not powerful at all and not overly creative, but he’ll hit the hole and if it’s one tackler he’ll at least fall forward. I think with Hurts drawing so much attention he can take advantage of those false steps by DEs and LBs.Ā

Deuce Vaughn was a fun college player to watch but I'm not going near a 5-6 175 lb RB. To put his size in perspective, Boston Scott is 5-6 203, Donnel Pumphrey was 5-9 170, andĀ  Brittain Covey is 5-8 172.Ā  Scott is 30 lbs heavier and rocked up.Ā  Unlike Pumphrey and Covey, Vuaghn does have a muscular buiild, he's just so light.Ā  I'm done with the Eagles continually having smaller backs.Ā  Kenny Gainwell is 5-9 200.Ā  No way I'm pairing him with Vaughn.

Bigsby has been one of my favorite backs to watch over the last few years.Ā  I'm really warming up to the idea of Roschon Johnson.Ā  6-2 222 wtih LOTS of tread on the tires.Ā

I hope we can find a way to pick up a fourth round pick. There will be a good back available. As much as I like Israel, I could see him being kinda like Wendell Smallwood.Ā

Zach Evans didn’t have a great year at Ole Miss, but he’s got some serious talent. He’s a lot more creative than Israel and can break tackles.Ā

Good acceleration. Doesnt look big. Doesnt run very strong. Looks like a potential Boston Scott replacement.Ā

Dude has a long stride, what I like about him is he doesn't seem to have many negative plays.

One of the things that always bothered me about miles is how many negative plays he has, a 2nd and 9 is better than a 2nd and 11.

Israel doesn't seem to have a lot of wiggle or lateral agikity but he hits the hole hard and if he gets in the open field he's gone.
