He's never coached before, that wouldn't be the wisest hire. If he wants a quality control position to start the process of being a coach then sure. But to just hire him as a LB coach because he was a good player would be pretty foolish.

Yeah, he’s not powerful at all and not overly creative, but he’ll hit the hole and if it’s one tackler he’ll at least fall forward. I think with Hurts drawing so much attention he can take advantage of those false steps by DEs and LBs. 

He’s also really young. Have to think he’s one of the few RBs who can improve physically and add some things to his game.
