We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Aside from the times I have a prior commitment that day, I have not missed an Eagles game in probably 5 years. There are several streaming sites that with a good ad blocker and VPN you can watch whatever game you want. Paying the exorbitant cost of sunday ticket is like volunteering to watch someone burn your cash.

The DAZN package is about $150, you get live and on-demand to every NFL game, plus NFL Network, NFL Red Zone and this is only available in Canada. Plus you get access to all sorts of other sports leagues like the NHL, College Sports, and Champions League Soccer.

Just goes to show how high the demand is, and how terrible broadcasting laws are in the US.

It’s like buying fireworks; you’re literally watching your money go up in smoke.

Just go to the local fireworks show for free and you’re set

Eagles are likely going to be a huge primetime team this year too. I'd guess it ends up being around 50% you won't need Sunday Ticket for.

Definitely, even the games that are not likely to get primetime, Eagles-Jets, Eagles-Patriots, other Eagles-Cowboys or Eagles-Vikings will be the national game on a Fox afternoon slate or a CBS late game money maker. We have a crazy good schedule this year for ratings

Not paying for that. Absurd pricing.

It’s not much more than I was paying on DirecTV.

Stats aren't the way to compare players. Impact on the game and wins are (stats to some degree). I live in Steeler country and had to deal with live Steeler trolls my whole life so I'm a hater too. But it doesn't stop me from admitting when I see a great player and he was one of those.

I'm not saying he wasn't a great player.  He can be both a great player and overrated, at the same time, they are not mutually exclusive.  Hall of Fame - Yes.  First ballot - No.   And that's why I consider him overrated.  Of the trio, Dawkins, Reed and Polamalu, he was third on that list to me.    Dawkins could have been a first ballot guy, and I wouldn't have blinked at it, but also didn't blink when he wasn't.  But, if Dawkins wasn't, Polamalu wasn't.  But, he played for Pittsburgh, had the hair and the Stillers won a Super Bowl while he was there, so he gets bumped up higher than his talent would permit.

But, please don't think that I'm saying he wasn't a great player.  He was.  But, I just don't think he was as great as he is portrayed by many.

I'm trying to remember what the streaming cost was if you didn't use the discount and didn't have DirecTV

Officially in the deadzpne of nothing but peoples mock drafts.  Going to be a long remaining 2+ weeks.

Got a nice trade down offer from 30. If it weren't for that pesky Zach Harrison, I'd have had all "J's."

People have lost their damn minds. On WIP right now they're asking if you'd move up for Will Anderson. Not only are a lot of people saying no, but their reasons so far haven't been "The cost would just be too much." It's "I'd rather just have Bijan Robinson."

My wife is in school too be a NP. We have been able to use her student ID to get Sunday ticket for $100 the last couple of years.   With the Eagles likely maxing out prime time games, and likely to have a handful of nationally televised games, 349 to watch what... 3-5 out of market games seems stupid.

Not sure how this changes the top 10 if at all.

I like to think that Howie will stick to not drafting a RB in the first round

The Detroit Lions have TRADED former 2020 3rd overall pick CB Jeff Okudah to the Atlanta Falcons. (Per Adam Schefter) 👀🏈
Lions Receive:
- 2023 5th-round pick
Falcons Receive:
- CB Jeff Okudah

Yes, they won a super bowl and a lot of games because he was there. I don't have an issue with T.P. being a first ballot H.O.F. . We'll just disagree and move on

Had Okudah sucked?!  I can’t believe how little the Falcons gave up for him. Especially since Detroit seems to be on the rise.

Nice....man Witherspoon or Gonzalez, come on down.

I fully expect Howie to trade back now that we're sitting pretty

They had a golden opportunity to make an affordable experience and then they do that lol. I would say I hope no one buys it but just like madden every year, no matter how crappy and overpriced it is people shell out

Even if you sign up for YouTube TV for a month and get the package that's still over $300/year. Can most of us afford it? Yeah, but screw that.

I hate this argument that stats aren't the way to compare players

If as you state that wins which is a team metric not individual and impact in the game then how does one quantify impact on the game? Through stats.

Sure one can say players do stuff that impacts Games all the time that doesn't show up on a stat sheet, those guys play OL.

Even then one can argue a skill player does stuff all the time that doesn't show up on the stat sheet but how is that quantifiable without compiling it into a stat.

Can you quantifiably show that T.P. plays that didn't record a stat had a bigger impact on the game than Dawkins plays that didn't record a stat?

It is fairly easy though to compare stats and when it comes to stats Dawkins leads TP in every defensive statistical category including games not lost to Injury.

TP was a great player and one of the most overrated

It was like $300 I think.
