We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

This is probably already obvious at this point, but Kempski said from talking to people within the Eagles they think Jurgens is an absolute stud. They absolutely love the guy and love what they've seen from him. Didn't say at RG in particular. I think just in general.

The RG thing is important. I think he’ll be great at center. RG we don’t know and not much to go on. Skoronski or Paris can play RG if jurgens isn’t good enough or gets hurt and you aren’t just relying on Driscoll who has a tendency to get hurt. Plus both give you a swing tackle.

also this is a good deep rb class. There is the chance a kid in the 2-3 round winds up being better than the guy who goes first just due to situation and circumstance.

Actually, that IS part of what concerns me.  If he's drag racing in a piece of crap Jeep Trackhawk, what's he gonna do when he has the money for a Lamborghini Urus??

Let me rephrase.  The bigger issue to me, and many others, was the reaction to his friends/teammates deaths.  I shouldn't have said no one cares about the drag racing...a lot of deaths have come from it.

Supercharged V8 in the Trackhawk puts out more HP than a twin turbo V8 Urus however 🙂

I get what you're trying to say but saying it won't help the offense to have an extremely highly rated RB doesn't make sense and that having a backup OL who might not play at all this year would help the lineup...

Playing devils advocate....  I'm pro going OL and DL at 10.. If we move down from 10 then i might be more open to Bijan... I really want to see what Penny brings also

How many seasons have the Eagles had that no starting o-lineman missed a game due to injury? Driscoll had 3 starts last season and played 354 snaps last season.  Herbig, Dillard and Driscoll played more than 1300 snaps in 2021.  In 2020, Herbig and Pryor had more than 1500 snaps.  Jason Peters had more snaps than Lane Johnson.

I understand the desire to add Bijan but what is he going to add that Sanders didn't provide.  He's not a long term add to the Eagles' window with Hurts.  An o-lineman or d-lineman is more likely to stay on the team and have a longer playing career.

Yup. Washington should go all in to make that happen. Really with him the first rounders are gonna be 16 and likely 19-25 in 2024. I’m likely trading more to move all the way up for an unproven prospect and unlikely they’d get Caleb Williams next year

I get having to also pay him as well and his injury past but i rather pay for a known commodity than trade all those assets and wind up with a bust.

They are going to get an immediate PR boost too just getting Snyder out of there. Follow that up with making the team exciting and getting a big name QB will only lead into getting fans excited and selling more tickets and merch. They likely won't be SB contenders but you at least get the franchise back on track in the right direction.

Coach speak. Snyder knew he was getting pushed out and the impending sale put them in a weird position.

There's also the issue with the team being cash poor.  Any trade for Lamar is going to be coupled with a new contract.  The contract will require a large amount in an escrow account.  Snyder just may not have had the money or the ability to raise the money.

It makes too much sense for them not too. Fans get behind new ownership for trying to change the culture and get their franchise Qb. I do wonder if Baltimore knowing Washington in a close market doesn’t just match and keep lamar and try to smooth things over. That said wouldn’t be shocked if this gets done before the draft that ravens don’t try to trade up to get someone like Richardson or levis

Fair enough.  You're correct, the Jeep carries the Hemi V8 but it's a different experience than driving a refined sports vehicle.  I owned one of the original Hyundai Genesis R-Spec sedans that had 429 HP and that thing was all over the place; very hard to pin down and keep straight.  I went from that to a Benz E550 with 382 HP, and it was a much faster vehicle and great fun to drive.

OBJ claims he went to Ravens for Lamar

Obj is also an idiot so there’s that. I do think the ravens would match though.

Don't this sale is finalized and Josh Harris has the keys to the car prior to the draft.

No doubt.  I love American muscle and the Hemi V8, but I've always been a Euro guy.  Currently in an Audi SQ5 with a stage 1 tune that puts my single turbo V6 at 430 HP. Doesn't have the V8 rumble but it moves.  A few other mods to a stage 3 tune will put me over 700 HP.  Never doing that as it's just unusable HP.

The Urus is basically an Audi Q8, although the RSQ8 is a whole other beast of it's own.

Wonder if they rebrand…again. Their name and uniforms and logo suck.

I’m guessing if it’s in the process of getting done new ownership might request they want that move made. Also doesn’t have to be done before the draft. Hypothetically could just use 2024 1st and 2025 1st those picks are likely worse than 16 in 2023

Watch them rebrand to some other racist Native American slur

Ike Reese said he'd rather have Bijan and Keion White than Will Anderson.

I still think the wolverine was the simple and obvious choice.  Wouldn't have even had to change the color scheme much; leave the red in to symbolize blood:

I was partial to Warthogs. Puumba fits their color scheme, there’s alliteration, and the history with the Hogs.
