I was partial to Warthogs. Plumbs fits their color scheme, there’s alliteration, and the history with the Hogs.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Yeah I meant Puumba it autocorrected to plumbs.

Speaking of changing names, I’ve heard people say the Chiefs should change their name. There’s nothing offensive about it, it’s a tribal rank. It’s not demeaning term.

And I’ve also heard people say the Chiefs, Braves  and FSU tomahawk chop chants should be banned at stadiums without actually explaining why.

Most likely some nut just decided that anything relating to minority culture is automatically offensive and a bunch of betas just blindly followed along.

This seems like the most obvious BS ever. It makes no sense to turn down a fair offer to 1) keep Rodgers on the books to not play, and 2) look like complete a-holes to the HoF QB they’ve already decided to move on from.

I said a couple days ago packers front office and rodgers have done this BS circus for 4 years now. So nothing would surprise me with all this. Both sides are petty as F. Also we are under the impression the packers getting a fair offer is considered fair to them. We might think that. Their standard is different than ours

also not brought up enough makes more financial sense for the packers to deal him after June 1st. Before June 1st it’s 40.3 mil dead and a 8 mil cap hit. After 15.8 mil dead money and 15.7 cap savings. So if the jets are only offering a 2nd rounder in 2023 is the 8 mil dead money hit and dealing rodgers away to them worth that? I’m guessing to the packers it’s not a fair deal

Rodgers doesn’t even talk to his family anymore. The Packers can’t out-petty him, and it makes no sense to hold him just to hold him. It’s cutting their nose to spite their face.

Well they are petty enough to try especially if they don’t consider what they are getting is a fair offer or as valuable as we do. I think you are underestimating the packers don’t care if they don’t consider what the jets are offering worthy. You and i can say that’s good value. Packers FO office might disagree and are petty enough to not deal him and force him to either retire or sit on the sideline if they don’t get what they feel is reasonable. Also the chance niners get to camp and trey lance is awful, purdy isn’t close or an injury happens and someone gets desperate. The financial aspect favors GB to do the trade after June 1st

We’ll find out at draft time. I think Green Bay is trying their best to present a strong negotiation stance, but both franchises know this needs to be done by the draft. The Packers will want their compensation now rather than the future, and the Jets know the Packers have no real interest in paying Rodgers to stay away for 2023.

They’re offensive. The Native people did not OK the use of their culture. In order to do the tomahawk chop you should have to wear a feather on your head, live in a tipi, and hunt your food without being able to use a gun.

I think it gets done.

However for GB i don’t necessarily think they have to get it done by the draft if they are fine with 2024 and 2025 picks over immediate pick especially if they don’t think the value is there for the picks from this year.

Again the thing not talked about enough is the financial aspect. It in fact benefits them to do it after June 1st. Save 15.7 mil and 15.8 mil dead as compared to 40.3 mil dead and 8 mil against the cap. Packers can wait til camp to make a trade if they are ok with compensation in 2024 and 2025 if they aren’t happy with the compensation they are getting now. Let’s say trey lance looks bad and now the niners get desperate. Rumors coming out the niners would be in if jets deal falls through. How true is it? Can’t say. The packers have put up with rodgers crap in the past anyway and they have made it into a circus anyway. So i can see this becoming a circus.

do I think this happens? No. But I don’t put it out of the realm of possibilities with how the Packers and Aaron Rodgers have handled this whole thing for four years.

He’s not. Makes more sense then extending it to later innings. Unintended consequences of the pitch clock

Potential trade down team if it comes to that.

It's too bad the Packers don't play the Jets this upcoming season lol

Hard time seeing Levis falling out of the top 10. Would need colts to go Richardson and hope the raiders don’t take levis as Jimmy Gs long term replacement or someone doesn’t try to leap the raiders to get him thinking the raiders would take him.

Witherspoon and Wilson are Dan Campbell type of guys. Really hoping they take Wilson, as he should be off our board.

Packers front office and rodgers have been in this circus for like 4 years now. My best friend is a packers fan, a lot of packers fans rather force rodgers to retire then take back a package that’s just a 2nd rounder. They irrational at the moment and packers front office is also irrational in their price but also petty and have been petty for 3-4 years now leaking stuff.

i do think a deal gets done but i could see this becoming even more of a circus. It’s been a circus for years now

Not a huge difference last year at least between him and Sip.
