We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Here’s a wild stat: we still have FOUR guys from our 2012 draft in the nfl. Over a decade ago. And a fifth in Mychal Kendricks should be if he wasnt an idiot felon. Vinny Curry was a jets backup DE last year, and foles hasn’t retired just yet.

But The weirdest one is Dennis Kelly. That dude is STILL hanging on with the colts. He’s a 33yr old career backup Olineman, never seen anything like it.

Basically can do things they have done with graham for years where he can play DE but also Move inside to DT. It’s why i think they liked Milton Williams so much. He could move from DT to DE

Yep, and they could really use a guy like that. Van Ness can also do that. I am probably way wrong but I have a hard time believing they would take Nolan Smith at 10 or even with a slight trade down since he is so similar to Reddick.

Kendricks returned to play after his conviction. He only spent a day in jail.  He was cut in 2021 after he was put on IR by the 49ers

I actually like the northwestern kid Adebawore. I get he’s a boom or bust but when i was researching guys he was one i liked. I can see why the eagles would too. I’ve been taking him in most of my mocks but he’s projected from around 35-50 range. However this draft i think from 15-50 we are gonna see some surprises. I wouldn’t be shocked if he finds his way into the first round.

i think they like Nolan smith. It’s a good problem to have if you have two reddick type of pass rushers. just have to be really creative in how you are using them to get them on the field together. I still think the first pick is gonna be a OL and 30 they either move up or a little back and get a pass rusher.

Don’t remember BG getting any snaps at DT last year - some 4i the previous year before he got hurt. He lined up as a DE either with his hand on the ground or as stand-up pass rusher… same deal for Sweat (who was an abject failure playing the 4i in 2021). The 4i-4i interior space in 2022 was allocated to the DTs.

True but they also had Cox, Hargrave, Williams, Davis, and then from November on Suh and Joseph. It's probably the most depth they have ever had at the DT position in the history of the franchise.

This has been the M.O. for some terrible Eagles picks.  If they see Haason Reddick in Nolan Smith that might be disastrous.  That can land you JJAW looking for the next Alshon.

Nolan Smith is a pick based on athleticism and measurables, while ignoring lack of college production.  If the tiebreaker is college tape, I don't see an impact player in his college tape, at all.  I see a guy who might need to make a living in the NFL as an off-ball linebacker.

JMO.

Mailata - Dickerson - Jurgens - Skoronski - 2024 / 2025 1st round pick

That's how you keep churning out one of the best OL's in football and set your team up for success. Boring, yes, but I am getting more and more on board with Skoronski at 10.

I like smith but i definitely think the eagles will like him more than you and I. I wouldn’t take him at 10 i don’t think he’s worthy of being that high. Frankly if we sit at 10 i still think skoronski or Paris Johnson Jr. Is the route they go unless Wilson, Carter fall. I think one of the corners they’d take too but i don’t think it’s a guarantee.

i still think if Wilson or Carter falls to like 7 they attempt to trade up for them. Then at 30 i think they trade back

Sure - honestly I’m not sure what direction Desai is going in, but Gannon seemed to be interested in NT, 3T-4i DT and DE/3-4 OLB types - all of these seem different than the AA or Tuli2 skillset.

The starting line of 2025. I would prefer immediate impact players, especially as a top 10 pick. I want Jurgens to get reps next to Kelce at RG this year to learn next to him, not behind him.

I think Skoronski is as overrated an o-line prospect as I can remember in recent years. I don’t see the appeal. To each their own, however.

Agree that they can't ignore OL and they need to keep adding to the line but I think Cody Mauck, Steve Avila or O'Cyrus Torrence will be just as good and can be had in the 2nd/3rd.

Or better.

I'm kind of opening up to the idea of Jaxon Smith-Njigba if we trade down a few spots. If Smith or AJ go down we really have very little behind them.

Howie didn't get his Mann

I'd like him but not in this offense as currently constructed. I'd look to some mid round guys instead.

I'd be very happy with this.  If Gibbs is on the board at 31 and they got him there I'd be more than happy.  Henley is going to be a good pro.

The WR to look is Trey Palmer in the 3rd or 4th (if they can get an early 4th through trading back in the first few rounds).  4.33 40 time.  Replace Quez with him and then try to love Quez for a 5th or 6th rounder or just move on from him and open up over $2M in cap space.
