For me, its Witt all the way. Remember what Howie said about OL on the Kelce podcast.

Witt on day 2 & pass on OL on day 1 please.

I wouldn't expect Witt to contribute anytime soon, basically a Mailiata project but also having to gain good weight as well.  2-3 year timeframe where he'd be a gameday inactive for at least his rookie season.  This works given the remainder of the Lane window - but other guys like Freeland would likely give you a swing tackle option from the jump (but at an obvious cost in draft capital).

Witt is a good prospect project but there is no guarantee he will be there at whatever draft pick you are prepared to spend on him. Any competent GM will have other options in mind, just in case. Daniels' shortcoming is weight. If they think they can bulk him up without losing his athleticism, he could be under consideration. Certainly Witt looks more promising at the moment but as I said, he might not be there.

thoughts on the Oklahoma tackle at 30?

Caplan said the Eagles put in a waiver claim for Mann.

Eagles should bring Marquette King in to TC.  He's punting the heck out of the ball in the XFL.

If he's a project (I agree), I can definitely see him get to round 3 despite the athleticism.

Probably was a fluid situation

If Stroud, Young, Levis and Richardson all go before pick 10 and I'm the Eagles, I'm calling the Vikings with pick 23 to try and convince them that Hooker won't make it past the Seahawks at 20.  Kirk Cousins is in the last year of his contract and I can't see the Vikings shelling out money to keep him.  The only other QB on their roster is Nick Mullens.  The Vikings need a QB.  Hooker could learn from the bench and make sure he's 100% healthy.

Would you do pick 10 and 94 for pick 23, 87, 119 and 2024 1st?  Vikings don't have a 2nd but you could swap 3rds, moving up 7 slots, pick up a 4th where the Eagles don't have one and get the extra 1st rounder in 24.

Vikings get Hooker at 10, which might be high but it secures them a QB of the future for 5 years and they can walk away from Cousins.

At 23, many of the players we have discussed look MUCH better.

I would strongly consider it. I would probably only decline that offer if the specific guy the Eagles had targeted at 10 was still available.

Does Jalin Hyatt have drop issues? I’m trying to figure out why he’s not projecting to go round 1. Dude shredded Bama

I believe Marquette King is a poor holder, which is why he's been punting in the XFL rather than the NFL. I know there's a knock on some former NFL punter for that, and I think King is that guy.

Traded 10 to the Jets for 13,112,143.

At Western Kentucky's Pro Day, Hailassie measured in at 6 feet and 195 pounds; his arms were measured at 32 1/4-inches. The more noteworthy numbers, however, were his results from the movement drills: he ran the short shuttle in 4.06 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.68 seconds

That would have been good for 3rd overall in both short shuttle and 3 cone at the combine

Ran a good, but not elite 40, + ran very few routes in college.

Might be a bit of a lazy comparison but he reminds me of Donte Stallworth.

Morris? Really raw but he's got the tools. Long arms, good feet. Day Three guy but someone Stoutland can develop if he has the mental capacity. I know he got suspended for academics at OU. That's pretty hard to do. OU is not exactly MIT. Reminds me a bit of Big V.

I believe the Tennessee offense is a bit peculiar, so not very translatable to the next level; then these is the age and ACL - but I do believe the mechanics are better, if the raw skills are not.  I wouldn't consider him the 1st round... but I'm not a desperate GM.

I don't know about peculiar, they run a lot of no huddle and some of their receiver alignments are WIIIIIDE, age is obviously a legit knock on Hooker, but the idea his numbers are solely a product of a college Air Raid offense is false, they ran the ball at least as often as they passed.

I think Hooker is one of those guys where scouts talk themselves out of believing in his numbers, like when they talked Trubisky into 1st QB drafted in 2017, even though Mahomes had multiple seasons of more impressive college production scouts were asterisking it as being the product of a college style offense. They'll talk Will Rogers numbers down when he comes out of Mississippi State this year.

You cannot tell me Will Levis is a definite 1st round QB if Hooker isn't.

Pretty sure he means Anton Harrison since he mentioned pick 30

I don’t think he makes it past the Steelers. Then him and his dad can go out in the Pittsburgh southside together and get in fights

I’d take that as the #3. Better than what we saw in Quez

I want a short-area quickness guy with sure hands on top of the field-stretcher (which I think we can easily upgrade over Quez). Our starters are one of the top tandems in the league but we have absolutely nothing behind them.
