Panthers trading up to #1 for Skoronski is a bold take

Especially when they announce him as a QB.

On a rookie deal with a soft schedule maybe

eh... I think he can do a lot to carry a team. Surely, the amazing WRs helped him a lot this year, but he still has his legs. Hopefully will still improve throwing on the run. He can still get a lot better. Thats the great thing. Hes far from a finished product. If he does that, he might get to the point where he doesnt absolutely need to have Smith and Brown as his WRs. Maybe 1 elite WR instead of 2 will be enough. And a better power running game.

She did an excellent job.  There's been no leaks from her about Jalen being unhappy and the status of the negotiations. No tweets or leaks to Schefter about Hurts needing to be the highest paid QB in the League.   All of the statements have been from the Eagles' side.  Jalen seems like he's probably an easy client but it's not like she's been saying anything to anyone about the status.  She also understood the value of getting a deal done and the leverage she had for him this season.  A lot of agents could learn from her approach.

Lamar Jackson could use an agent.  His agent (him) sucks

Right, because Howie has no idea how to manage the cap, and while the current QB took the Birds to the SB, they lost, and they only have 2 first round draft picks this year and a boatload next year, and 3 potentially very good players who were drafted last year had largely red shirt years and will now take the field. Doomed! Doomed! Doomed!

He needs a reality check for certain. He has more rushing yards than Hurts but even his best passing year (his MVP) was less than Hurts in 2021

IDK that this will be true, but I am convinced Skoronski will be the first pick.

I think eagles try to trade up with the raiders if Carter falls. I tend to think of cardinals go Williams that the Seahawks go Carter. But i tend to believe if it’s down to bijan, skoronski, Paris, Nolan smith and van ness that they’d likely go skoronski.

Whoever the new producer is on WIP midday show is an idiot.

"I don't like that they gave Hurts a no trade clause. If Carson Wentz was given a no trade clause he'd still be on this team."

Yes, the guy that wanted to be traded and was traded to the team he wanted to be traded to would still be here if he had a no trade clause. Lol.

also that midday show with Hugh and giglio is awful

If you had to choose between giving Hurts the extension he got and drafting Anthony Richardson or Will Levis, what would your choice be?

He said were doomed which is passed tense because Hurts is a QB with a weak arm.

He is better than half the starting Qbs in the league and has an MVP under his belt.  But, he is stuck on the Watson guaranteed money.  That contract was an outlier.  I would hope he would hire a competent agent like Nicole Lynn so he can get a deal done.

I'm not a Lamar believer and I'm not sure about him being better than half the starters. Also that MVP was almost 5 years ago now and he's been on a decline and injured a bunch

I think the issue is he's extremely overvaluing himself

May be an image of 2 people and text that says "AJ Brown @1kalwaysopen my birthday is coming up at the right time!!! 0:02 OIZV D 11.2K views"

wow. Looks like Hurts is gonna have to take AJ Brown to Applebee's

I know I hate the "he's a former MVP" talk.  It was quite awhile ago.

That's why you pay an agent.  Not only to negotiate a good deal but also to manage expectations and to tell you like it is.

As far as his play on the field, I don't get all the hate.  The guy really never had great players around him on offense.  Besides Mark Andrews, he has had a below average receiving core.  He is a good player but a bad agent who has handled his extension poorly.

It's not hate. I just don't think he's that good
