3 rounder because I'm poor and can't afford to upgrade to 7 round mock drafts

I didn't know that they charged for more. I don't remember that before

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

It’s new this offseason, why so many people have been using PFN and the other one lately

Murphy weighed in at 6'5”, 271 pounds, ran a 4.51 40-Yard Dash, 7.20 3-Cone, and 4.35 Shuttle. Myles Murphy is a DE prospect in the 2023 draft class. He scored an unofficial 9.88 #RAS out of a possible 10.00 after a strong second pro day performance.

Still not sure why people in here are down on him.  Very high on my list for pick 10

I’d be perfectly fine with Murphy.

Same here. I think he’s a good player and he’d be a good addition to this DL.

I wouldn't mind that at all.

Pretty funny to think back to how many mocked Hurts for this stuff.

I can admit I thought it wouldn't matter and those intangibles didn't matter

Also didn't think there was any way he could make the leap he did. I was wrong

We both know if DUM and 4X4 were still here they'd be applauding both Hurts and Howie for getting this deal signed.

I think it’s also a lesson that these guys who get drafted in to the NFL are majorly talented athletes. Guys in the later rounds have a lot of talent too. And so it isn’t just about athletic ability and there’s so much more that goes in to a player and whether they pan out.

Which is why I want nothing to do with Jalen Carter.  He sounds like the complete opposite of Jalen Hurts when it comes to intangibles.

Notice how its not elite qb or elite passer…

Not hating to not get caught up in the overreactions. I dont see the grand improvment some do. I expect more of the same limitations next year.

overpaying an ok qb traps teams in the hell of mediocrity

Ahh the limitations of the QB that finished 2nd in MVP voting, was named All Pro, only lost 1 regular season game, took the team to the Super Bowl and played incredible on the game's biggest stage.

He was just ok.

Dude your comment is exactly hating on him.

It’s pretty crazy that Wentz extension was 4 years $128M and that wasn’t even 4 full years ago.

It's OK to be excited about Hurts being locked up but also feel a bit apprehensive at the same time.  Hurts has a lot of qualities that Wentz didn't and also wasn't coming off any major injuries, but he's only produced at the level he did for 1 year.  Hurts is surrounded by great coaches, players and schemes that are only going to help him hopefully stay at the level he played last year or even better, improve.

However, let's not forget what many felt in 2019.

Eagles News: Carson Wentz contract extension "is a big win for the entire Eagles organization”

Schefter sounds like he doesn't think a QB will go 2 or 3 now. Not great for the Eagles.

It is if there are QBs available at 10 and we get someone’s 2024 1st

And we already know Irsay is taking one. There’s a lot of teams before 10 that wouldn’t shock me if they took a QB either.

Howie is pretty good at projecting how the board will fall though. I trust him to know what he has to do to get the player he wants heading into the draft.

And also, if teams aren't trying to trade up to 2 or 3 for a QB and those teams are trying to trade down, it could suggest the price is much lower to move up than is typically the case. Which could make an Eagles move up doable.

Could be good for them if one of the top four is available at 10 and someone wants to trade up. Let's say carolina, the Colts and the falcons take a qb. Tennessee, the pats, the texans, Washington and the bucs all need a qb to varying degrees. Could be really good for us.
