Why should we care about how Kelly Green mixes with black uniforms?  Black isn't a color of this team... closest that ever happened was in 1990 when the team switched over to black shoes... for whatever reason they chose to do that.

Because it's Nike and it's 2023.  Even if the Eagles do a full uniform makeover to Kelly Green you better believe they are going to make an all black uniform with some cringe worthy name and story line behind it.  There was no reason to give the Jets a full black uniform when they got their new uniform set.  There was no reason to give the Lions an all silver uniform.  No reaon to do the Falcons the way they did with the radiant uniform.  Did you see what they did to Washington?  Never have they had black in their uniforms and they have a head to toe black uniform.

The Eagles will have a black uniform one way or the other and that sucks.

It was nikes fault.

They couldn't make our green.

They're also still incapable of making metallic colored pants like the raiders, saints, and buccs used to wear..

Nike sucks.

Issues replicating the color were happening before Nike, when Reebok was the supplier.

There were years where it was a crapshoot if the jersey you bought the year prior would even be the current team colors. Was this just Reebok screwing up a color they already had, or is it possible Lurie is requesting adjustments?

Nameplate sucks

Jalen Ramsay is 28

He is due 17m in salary this year, 14m next, and 15m the year after that. We can rip that up and give him a new deal with low cap hits in 2023 and 2024 until Slay is off the books, or just restructure him a couple times so he costs nearly nothing for a few years.

If LAR said they’d trade him for 30th overall, would you do it?

No, we need to get younger on defense.

Man, I absolutely loved when the Eagles would wear KG on the road on a grass field...usually Arizona or Washington.

Picture 1 of 1

At the start of free agency, the Eagles will have a 10-day window to pick up options in wide A.J. Brown and edge rusher Haason Reddick’s contracts.

Brown would be due a $10.17 million payment that is required for a dummy 2027 contract year. His 2023 base salary would reduce from a fully-guaranteed $11.25 million to a fully-guaranteed $1.08 million with the option being exercised.

The remaining $16,470,471 of Brown’s $20.25 million 2024 base salary is fully guaranteed.

For Reddick, he’ll be due a $15.17 million payment which is required for a dummy 2027 contract year. His 2023 base salary would then reduce from a fully-guaranteed $16.25 million to a fully-guaranteed $1.08 million with the option being exercised.

In all, the two options would save Philadelphia $25 million in cap space as those salaries become automatic payments or bonuses.

Also if anything is going to happen with Bradberry or Hargrave it has to be tomorrow by 4PM or all their void years accelerate.

So it is the 20th? Cause i know on overthecap they say the two contracts void the 23rd but cbs sports says it was tomorrow in their article.

I think Robbie Anderson changed his name to chosen Anderson

With a Slay and Hargrave restructure the Wagles would actually have 50-55 Million in cap space after these options are exercised. We can bring back what defensive players we want and bring in some younger free agents.

Keep CJGJ

Dre’mont Jones over Hargrave IMO

Keep Bradberry or go with Jamel Dean

Keep Edwards

It’s 23 days before the league starts on March 15th. That would be tomorrow. At least for Hargrave. I’m digging further into Bradberry’s contract right now but can’t seem to find that detail.

This is bradberry’s contract on overthecap. When you click on the paper next to 2023 it says this. why i assumed it was 23rd1CAD9113-A8F0-470B-A702-72C024C17E0D.thumb.jpeg.afc60187148def1f21973d3580c0eca4.jpeg

I went by draft ratings.  The only real reach is Branch lasting until pick 30 but I'm hoping teams don't value safety that high in the draft.  Also, double dipping back to back at LB is highly unlikely and people will argue they used a 3rd last year on Dean but Pace and Sewell would bring in a pair of nasty, hard hitting, play making LBs with range.

No way Hyatt is lasting to 76. He’ll go bottom half of 2nd at worst. I’d love to have him but we don’t run a ton of 3 WR sets.

Someone needs to tweet otc and spotrac and see what their response is. Don was usually pretty good at getting an answer from them

By the time we get a response we will have the answer tomorrow

Let Edwards and White go.  Roll with Dean and Elliss.  Think about Jack Campbell and Ivan Pace in the Draft.

I think Edwards is almost a lock to be back unless some team offers a big overpayment for him.  The Eagles seem to like both him and Epps.  It will be interesting with Gannon gone to see who makes the final determination on personnel for the defense.

Naw. Total headcase and CBs talent seems to fall quick. Need to get younger there
