He’s been washed for two years.

Even if he is washed, it costs almost nothing for Pittsburgh to find out.  All upside and doesn't hurt them in the least if he flops - they're the worst team in that division.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

The angle on Marks and Reese today was that Eagles fans shouldn’t just be disappointed if they don’t take Robinson at 10. They should be outraged that the Eagles made a colossal mistake.

I so hope he’s still on the board when the Eagles pick, passing on him will bring me such satisfaction.

They're trying to recreate the Ricky Williams vs QB drama then it sounds like

Van Ness / Murphy / Nolan Smith:

Paris Johnson / Jones / Skoronski

Witherspoon

7 names.  Good chance all 7, or at least 5-6 of them, are on the board at 10.  Anyone you like better is off the board already.

1. Do you like any of them enough to use #10 overall?

2. When 5-6 of them are on the board, do you have them all graded comparably to trade down 5-8 spots and just pick who is there after the trade down?

3.  If you have them all graded comparably, what is it worth to still have your pick of the group?  How much would it take to slide down and have it dictated to us?

While a trade down is great if there are multiple prospects of the same value, there are things to keep in mind:

-- For every trade down there has to be a trade partner willing to trade up.  Who will be on the board at #10 that other teams will need to move up for?

-- You can't trade down continually, so there needs to be a viable prospect at the spot you're trading down to

-- With 3 QBs likely to go in the top 9 (still can't imagine Richardson will go that high) you're essentially getting the 6th best player in the draft at #10.  Trading down very far will certainly dilute the impact of the player you're taking later.

I wonder what number Bijan will wear if McNabb refuses to let him wear #5 ......

I lost a lot of interest when Ji-Ayir Brown a 4.65 combine because it seems like we have enough limitations at safety with Edmunds and Blankenship, and Brown might not have enough range to play deep. I was reading Brugler’s report on him and despite the slow 40 time he has the same 10- and 20-yard split as Brian Branch. It kind of reminds me of when Jordan Fuller fell in the draft. He ran a slow 40, but his GPS tracking suggested good football speed. Brown doesn’t look slow, so maybe his GPS data paints a different picture. He looks like a good interchangeable safety prospect.

Witherspoon is the best player on that list by a fairly good margin IMO.

Budda Baker is a top 10 Safety and a top 10 leader in the league.
But if he wants to play here, he needs to take a discount. That's the price of winning now for vets.

I don’t think witherspoonnis Sheldon brown in a comp but he plays the game like Sheldon brown who was a hard hitter

100% agreed. He's my wish pick for #10. The kid's play style just screams Philly.

That's insane.  Honestly, I'd like Robinson, too, but, man, RBs bust at an alarmingly high rate in the NFL and we have other needs.

I'll be thrilled if we take him.  I'll also be thrilled if we got a good edge rusher, CB, or OT.

Sports fans are dumber when they regularly listen to WIP.

-7 Howies.  There's no way this team should trade for Devin White who wants a new contract to be the highest paid LB in the League.  Notre Dame players suck as pros especially when the Eagles pick them in the 2nd round.

Bobby Taylor was pretty damn good.

Howie might need to re-work his salary to get him to fit under the cap here, but yeah.  If you want top dollar, go lose in Arizona.  If you want to win, come to Philly.

So which caller are you?

This may be one of my most enjoyed mocks yet...traded 10 for 29, 40, 71, 165 and our own 6th rounder back from NO:

As I understand, his cap hit wouldn't be that high if traded.

Funny you mention him. I’m at home with a sick kid so I was watching draft prospects and stumbled across the Eagles-Cowboys 4th and a foot game. Watching Taylor stifle Irvin was so fun and reminded me of how excited I was when we draft him.

So many underrated Eagles on that defense too. William Fuller was a helluva pickup, as was Greg Jackson.

My friends don’t understand positional value! One is a Giants fan who loved the Barkley pick.

Zach and Bo mocked people who thought Robinson was a good idea on BwF yesterday. They were laughing at how ridiculous it all is and them, Kempski, and BLG have all talked at why they think it’s all so crazy. I do feel it’s done just to generate talk.

I’m not from the area and have never heard it
