Can’t wait for draymond on the sideline before game 3 trying to intimidate the kings

I'd love to see the Chuckers lose 4 straight to the Kings; I doubt it will happen, though.  Kings always seem to blow it.  Lakers can be gone quickly, too.

Great to see that the Leafs and Oilers lost as well.  Not sure I want to stay in Canada if the Leafs ever won anything again.

The thing is the warriors are awful on the road this year. They were 19 games below 500. They finished 6 games over .500. Which means the Warriors were really hard to beat at home. So even without Draymond, I would bet they win game three. I think the issue the kings are going to run into is they don’t have any playoff experience. so going on the road into the chase center with a team desperate knowing their season is on the line and he’s gonna be playing with a chip on their shoulder because they don’t believe Draymond should’ve been suspended. Plus warriors role players will play better at home. I’d be shocked if the Warriors don’t win that game.

Come get pick 30.

One scenario I thought about was the Eagles trading with Vegas twice. Trading up to 7 for Carter and then trading back from 30 to Vegas who jumps up for Hooker.

The raiders are dumb and mcdaniels has done crazy things when he was with Denver. I wouldn’t be entirely shocked if they’d do a trade back from 7 to 10 with the eagles if Carter is on the board then take hooker.

QB factory

Deonte Banks in a trade-down is best case scenario IMO.

Clifford doesn't happen to be a large red dog, does he?

Not sure how Hooker lasts past Washington at #16, Tampa Bay at #19, Baltimore at #22, and Minnesota at #23.

I guess it depends how far Richardson falls.

The Kings have been really good on the road. One win at Chase Center and it should be over in 5 imo.

Been really good on the road during the regular season. on the road in the playoffs is vastly different then regular season. Especially GS.  GS is a team is up against the wall and likely playing for their season tomorrow night is. I think game 3 the warriors likely play their best game of the series. Not saying the kings can’t win game 3, but i think the draymond suspension is is likely an added element that’ll fuel them and want to stick it to the nba. They have come out and said they are livid about the ruling. I think their better chance is game 4 tbh.

Why did we even draft Jurgens then?  We can't keep wasting top picks on OL who may never see the field.  Kelce might not want to retire after next year either.

Could have just given Isaac $8M/yr and saved the 1st (~$5.5M/yr salary)...

I think the name to watch out for day 2/3 at corner is Garrett Williams of Syracuse. Having bradberry and slay here for another 2 years they don’t need him to play right away and he’s coming off an ACL in October. He’s is/was really talented and he’s likely going to fall to the third or 4th round. Not sure if the whole Sidney jones situation will scare the eagles off though.

He is a top 3-5 CB in this draft.

ACL isn't the same as a Sydney Jones situation. His was Achilles and eagles should have known better.

I don't know if Williams will make it to the 3rd round.  Maybe... but definitely not 4th.

I’d take him in the 3rd. I wouldn’t do it in the 2nd round even if it’s late. I get jones had an Achilles and not an acl. However i think oline they wouldn’t be discouraged as they took Dickerson. Not sure they’d take a chance on a corner with coming off that type of injury Achilles or acl that high again

You could've made the same argument against Dickerson.  Then Brooks & Seumalo go down and viola!  We had a quality OL ready to step in.

Remember the seasons that were ruined because of OL injuries compounded by inadequate depth?

I would rather overcompensate to avoid those disasters again.

Exactly the way I see it as well. Game 3 the Warriors will win as otherwise it's pretty much game over. I think they'll win comprehensively too to make a statement.

Game 4 is where Sacramento make some adjustments and make it close. 50/50 on that one but a dub for SAC should be enough for them.

Howie just signed Evans, Street and Penny all who have collectively missed probably 70% of the games they were eligible to play in.  Injuries don't scare that man one bit!

What you just said. And I would add on to that. Your main back up is Driscoll who doesn’t stay healthy. So if Jurgens can’t play right guard like they think he can then you’re gonna have to go with him who doesn’t stay healthy. Add on if mailata or Johnson gets hurt which is 3 out of the 4 years lane has missed 25% of the season and miss 19 games over four years then Driscoll is your swing tsckle. So he’s gonna move out. If that happens, and Jürgen just isn’t playing well, enough, or he gets hurt, or Dickerson gets hurt, or Kelce gets hurt as well you are going with sun opeta. Who hasn’t been that good when he has played.

I am also of the opinion that Jurgens should not just be handed that job. And I don’t think there’s much of the Eagles and see what they have to be fully believe. He is capable of playing at a level that they got from seumalo last year. We can say whatever you want, but Isaac seumalo they have the same confidence it heading into your team. By week three, he was no longer the starter. We don’t have a Stephen Wisniewski on this team at the moment second step in if jurgens is not good as they thought.

If stoutland beliebes one of those guys can potentially be a starter at right guard year one and can be a pro bowl type talent long term then who the hell are we to disagree with him? This theory that because we have Stoutland means we don’t have to draft an offensive lineman high is not true. The Eagles are spent the fourth overall pick on lane, first on dillard, a second on Dickerson and jurgend  and third on seumalo. So they still spend high round picks even if they can get stoutland to create a Jordan Mailata.

They spent pennies on those players in FA And not high round picks. Spending high round picks on a corner/secondary players with injuries is different than free agents who are making pennies on the dollar.  Spending high round draft picks on a player coming off an injury at that position is completely different than spending pennies on a player in free agency. Who can get cut and nobody would care nor hurt them financially

Sam Howell is only 22 and I think Washington is very high on him.

Kyle Trask just turned 25, making him 3 months younger than Hooker and was able to sit and learn from Tom Brady.

I don't see either of those teams using a 1st round pick on a QB older than their current 2nd round investments.

I also think Lamar stays a Raven.

The Vikings make sense and I suggested them as a trade partner earlier this week.

OL is a need for sure but outside of Lane Johnson, look where the Eagles have found their lineman.

Mailata- 7th round

Dickerson- 2nd round

Kelce- 6th round

Jurgens- 2nd round

Driscoll- 4th round

Opeta- UDFA.  They were high on him and he's back

Even looking at past starter/role players. Semualo- 3rd round  Herbig- UDFA, Pryor- 6th round, Big V- 5th round.

I think they an find another Seumalo in the middle rounds and fill that RG need while still getting impact defensive and skill position players in the 1st.

3 out of 5 starters are 1st and 2nd round picks.  Seumalo was a top 100 pick. It's not like Driscoll or Opeta played well as spot starters.  Driscoll has been average and he's been injured.  Opeta got benched for Dillard at Guard.    I think they value the position and think it's harder to find starting talent in later rounds.  Sure they have hit on Kelce and Mailata but they don't know when they're getting a Kelce vs. a Matt Pryor or Prince Tega Wonogho.

Maybe it's more them finding out more information than really picking up steam if you will. Sure it could be smoke or maybe they have good intel. Can't wait til next Thursday to see. A lot of this seems to be coming or based around the Texans & Colts so maybe they are just putting a ton of smoke out there.

The only team that seems at all loose about their draft board are the cow pads on draft day driven by Jerruh’s ego and need to be seen.  I doubt there is "good intel”.  Rather, most often when there is a leak of information from an organization, it is because they want there to be a leak of information.  (Want Stroud and draft fourth, leak positive feelings about Levis.)  I do think there is a genuine attempt by the draft reporters to garner info and interpret or read between the lines.  But they and we know it’s smokescreen and manure spreading season.  As most of us here have a desire for information, I appreciate that such is shared in here but we all recognize the season.

But the recovery is so much different.  Expectations are different.

They should have known Jones wasn't going to be himself the following year,  even 2 years. Because Achilles don't have a predictable timeliness for return of explosiveness.

With the ACL you can expect them playing at a high level the next year.
