You can use that same argument for Bijan Robinson.  What if Robinson is by far the BPA, are you going to draft the lesser player?

I have already made that argument. I would have no problem with them drafting Robinson.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Not saying would you, just making a general statement for others to think about.

If the BPA never sees the field, is he really the BPA?

Edit: what if, at every single position the Eagles have a pick, a OT was the best player on the board?  Do you draft 7 Tackles?

The Eagles have had teams where every OL was a college tackle.

e.g. Tra Thomas, Todd Herremanns, Jamal Jackson, Shawn Andrews, Jon Runyan.

College tackles are generally better than college guards. I suspect that the majority of NFL guards are converted college tackles.

I would happily draft three tackles, though not seven.

Going back to the turn of the century since Lurie and Howie have been running the organization, the Eagles first round picks have been:

DT -- 5

WR -- 5

DE/EDGE -- 4

OT -- 2

OG -- 2

QB -- 1

CB -- 1

If I had any money I would wager against seeing a RB, LB, or S being drafted in Round 1.  I'd also wager a fair bit that the Eagles trade down from #30 if at all possible.

Even though WR isn't a "need" it may be more likely than RB or S or LB.

Trenches make up 13 of those picks, 5 at WR and one each of QB and CB.  I suppose CB could be a possibility for the first time since Lito, but I doubt it.

I don't mind OL at 10 (board dependent) but I can't get on board with Skoronski. The biggest concern outside QB has been when Lane has gone down to injury. At 10 I'd rather have someone that can fill in at OG now and be starter caliber if they need to swing out to OT.

Define "never."

That what if is nonsense, but a worthy try.

Absolutely no injuries on the OL for 4/5 years. If drafting a OL at 10 overall and never playing guaranteed perfect health, I'd do it 11/10 times.

Sheil is on the Spears bandwagon. Said he’s his favorite RB to watch. Good taste. Hope so badly the Eagles wind up with him.

Interesting.  Seems to be a strong correlation between this stat and how good a passing game is?  Perhaps a measure of how confident a team is in the passing game?

Dallas is dead last?

Good thing they paid Dak all that money.  Gonna earn it any day now....

Depth guy, had my eye on him for a while. Doubt it deters them from drafting a WR at some point. Still probably would've preferred to have Pascal back.

I hope he has a nickname

That's some direct competition for Quez, unless Quez gets dealt at the draft for a late round pick.

What do you guys think of Oladime Zaccheaus as a slot option?

I’d trade or cut him. At 2.7 mil quez isn’t worth that price. I actually like zaccheaus. Say 533 yards isn’t much but considering the falcons never liked to throw.

The Marcus Mariota effect.  Players just want to play with him

Or saying it right on sports talk.

It’s pronounced Zuh-kee-us from always hearing his name when falcons are on. It stands out.

‘We’ll have time to get a nickname.

So now we have a Zech pronounced like Zack, and a Zacc pronounced like Zuck.

Merrill is going to have some trouble.
