Love it. I've been calling for this move for weeks. If nothing else they needed depth and this is a guy who can definitely challenge Quez for the 3rd WR spot.

Eagles content creators are awful. How on earth they get 20K subs is beyond me.

I have to admit I sometimes watch them and give them clicks just to laugh at them. Not sure who is worse, Joey Shakes, Philly 500, or Lord Brunson.

Sheil and Solak dropped an episode today. Some highlights:

Sheil loves Carter. Said he's one of the best defensive players at any position he's watched in years. Thinks he's an absolute game wrecker at DT. Solak agreed.

Solak loves Skoronski. Thinks even if his arms may not be ideal, considers him a super clean prospect at the OL. He thinks Paris Johnson will struggle at guard at the NFL level due to his arm length and size.

Sheil likes Van Ness. Solak has him ranked 66th overall. Thinks he has potential but has a long way to go.

Solak likes Broderick Jones in terms of potential. Has Wright ranked just behind Skoronski.

Sheil likes Gonzalez more than Witherspoon. Solak has the reverse.

Solak said he's heard from multiple sources the Cardinals have Wilson ranked ahead of Will Anderson on their board.

Solak likes Charbonnet, Sheil doesn't. Solak likes Achane a lot. Spears was his 4th or 5th ranked RB. Thinks he could be burned out quickly in the NFL because he had so many touches in college already.

Solak thinks the edge rush class is overrated. Isn't a big Nolan Smith guy. Says he likes the potential, but doesn't show it enough. Would prefer him closer to 30 than 10. Says the Murphys, Van Ness, Nolan Smith's of the draft he thinks are back half of first round guys more than they are top half.

Sheil REALLY didn't like Forbes at CB. Said he didn't see it at all, thinks his tape was a disaster. Wouldn't want him anywhere near the Eagles. Said he thinks his INTs were gifts, he was constantly getting burned, has tight hips, didn't look fluid, and saw him miss too many tackles. Both like Banks.

If they stay at 10, Solak said his favorite pick assuming Carter is gone would be Skoronski.

Sheil likes Jonathan Mingo for the Eagles as a late round WR. Solak isn't as high on him, called him a JAG.

There's a clear opportunity in the Eagles YouTube market. They're all trash.

Not to be a **** but the average Eagles fan isn't smart and probably counts in clowns on like that for their "information."

I agree with Solak that the edge class is overrated. Well I will put it this way, I think there is a lot of depth and some good prospects will be there at 30 and 63. However, I don't think Van Ness, Smith, or Murphy is good value at 10.

I just wish he could return kicks/punts.  He's not really dynamic but he has a great average.  Reminds me of Greg Ward but GW averaged like 8 ypc whereas OZ is around 13-14.

I don't know if it's overrated but their potential isn't as high as usual.  I think this class is going to produce a lot of Brian Robinson from the 2000s Vikings or Dante Fowler kind of players.  DEs that have longevity in the league and are useful starters.  No one that's going to be a dominant All-Pro.  Maybe Anderson, but I think he needs to be in the right scheme for him to reach his potential.

Feel bad for the kid. Had a chance at a getting drafted day 3 to surely being a UDFA now.

Yeah, overrated probably isn't the correct word since it's a really deep class. I think it's lacking the elite talent though. I'm not sure Will Anderson is the top prospect in a lot of drafts and Tyree Wilson is probably a borderline top 10 pick as opposed to a lock. I look at Van Ness, Smith, and Murphy and see two guys with a lot of potential and a lot of questions, and one who is just very solid. To me these are guys who should be going in the teens or early 20's, not at 10.

Solak is right that Smith didn’t flash enough as a pass rusher, but his flashes were incredible. If he didn’t have his combine, I wonder if people would even be excited to draft him at 30.

I would take Jermaine Johnson and a heathy Ojabo over any pass rusher in this class other than Anderson. Karlaftis went 30th and he’s basically a power rusher like Van Ness, a guy frequently mocked in the top 10.

Now that people seem to have moved on at least somewhat from the silly Bijan talk, curious what others thoughts are on RB. I definitely think they will draft a RB but I doubt they do it before round 3, and it could be as late as round 7. If they had a 4th or 5th round pick I would consider that an ideal place for them to target the position. Who are some RB's in the 3rd-5th round range people like. I did a bunch of research on the position last night and for the Eagles I like Abanikanda, Z. Evans, C. Brown, Gray, and Roschon. If they wait until round 7 Ibrahim and Rodriguez are interesting.

I would agree with all of this. I would much rather be targeting guys like Adetomiwa, Uzomah, McDonald, Ojulari, etc at 30 / round 2. With each passing day I am more and more convinced they are either trading up slightly for Carter or Wilson, or going OL at 10. The value isn't there at 10 for any of these edge rushers.

So basically nothing like Ward.

Saw a mock where we traded the Chargers 10 for 21, 54 and Ekeler. I didn't look up the point values for the draft positions but like the idea of getting Ekeler.

LOL, I guess I forgot to put down the rest of my thoughts.  If you watch him, he isn't dynamic.  He's not really quick twitch.  Just his playing style reminds me of Ward.  He's just a better version of him.

I need to do research but like I said earlier, RB is the only spot that doesn't have elite talent on offense. If we can get a RB with gamebreaking speed we'll be a top 3 offense for the next 4 years

Israel Ibanikanda and Chase Brown. No clue what they ran at the combine but they both look fast on the field. Tucker from Syracuse as well but I'm just not feeling him for the Eagles for some reason.

That's a perfect comp, a better version of Greg Ward.

Honestly the more I think about it after the Hurts the more I hope they draft a truly gamebreaking RB in this draft. Whether that's Robinson at 10 or someone later, RB is the last piece of the puzzle on offense. Create an offense that can win shootouts and then build an opportunistic defense that can win the line of scrimmage.

The days of stalwart defenses is over, rule changes have made it extremely difficult to build a defense that can negate a top 5 offense. Create a top 3 offense and you can survive with an average defense

Hurts extended 5 years. Robinson drafted top 10 can be signed for 5 years. Window fits. Offense is complete. From then on, you can spend all those high picks next year. and any cap space the next few years on improving defense.

Zaccheus has improved steadily every year. Watched him in a loss to Washington early last year and he had a nice 90-100 yard game. Has done a few returns in his career but nothing steady.

I suppose theres a possibility he is a good returner who hasnt had many opportunities due to Patterson being there.
