We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Patricia as a member of the staff is a different prospect to him as a leader on the D side of things.  The last few years have to have humbled him to an extent, especially last year and he provides a level of pro experience on the D that would be lacking otherwise.  Undoubtedly, he and Slay will never be best buddies, but so be it. Win a Super Bowl or pout about a coach all year?

Fire Matt Patricia

It's so GD annoying...

Every good source now doesn't have it, but Dan Sileo still does.

Roseman will not let us peek at the draft strategy- and it does depend on whom the other teams pick.

But after watching the pc my gut feeling is we trade up from ten and down from 30.

Same. I see us trading up using one of the 2024 2nds & other future assets to jump 2-3 spots to get Carter if he's there. Then a trade back from 30, presumably with a team like the Raiders, and get some extra 3-6 rounders this year.

Sounds great to me.

It’s 420, interesting celebration day picked to do that.

Yes

It's almost the opposite of what it was before. The check mark now makes me question that account's judgement

Jalen Carter is gonna get more top 30 visits than Bijan, while being Wanted by police at the combine and refusing to see 2/3rd’s of the teams

Not really. Carter has a lot more red flags and skeletons in the closet that teams need to find out and feel comfortable with to use a premium resource on. Bijan seems like a good kid, teams probably got what they needed at the combine/pro-day.

Lost Quez but got back Tyler Boyd in a separate trade

Todd McShay said the Bears would love Carter so Howie may have to jump up a couple spots if that's not a smokescreen.

Death knell of twitter.

Carter at 10. Not thrilled but not completely disappointed.

Trading up for Carter? Rage against the TV.

Yup.  I think people have already forgotten what it cost to draft Jordan Davis last year.  Just to move up from 15 to 13 for Davis cost picks 15, 124, 162, and 166.

Moving up from #12 to 10 to draft DeVonta Smith the year before cost 12 and 84.

Moving from #10 up to 7 or 8 will cost at least as much.  Are the Eagles really in a position to give up pick #94 and some 2024 draft capital (which costs an extra round in value typically) to get a guy with a lot of question marks?

Exactly!

If trading up for Carter means missing on a prospect like Sydney Brown or Riley Moss in the 3rd round plus 2024 draft capital, I'm not down with that.

RBs are easy to scout - delving into red flags is complicated.

Howie says no one outside the organization has any intel on what he'll do in the draft, but just like everyone else I'll take a guess ....

At pick #10 he said today in his PC that it needs to be a "unique" player.  I guess some will interpret that as he will trade up to get a top 5 talent (QBs pushing them down a bit).  He also said drafting a player just on positional value doesn't do any good if the player isn't any good.

I think Howie will play the board with the notion of trading out of the pick.  If a player is still on the board at #10 that they evaluate as a top (unique) prospect, they'll pick but otherwise he'll field calls.  Bijan Robinson is actually a pretty good safety net because he's a unique talent who will probably be available at #10, and I'd say will likely be available even with a trade down to 15-17 range.  I think Van Ness would also be available after a trade down to the same range.  To me, Anderson is the only EDGE in this class who is unique, I don't think there are any DT who are unique, and I don't see any OL who qualify as unique.

The Eagles might view Gonzalez or Witherspoon as unique, but it's a deep CB class so I doubt they'll use a #10 pick on one.  EDGE is deep too -- if not top-heavy with elite talent.

He’s drafting Deuce Vaughn.

He qualifies.  So does Bumper Pool, on name only.

Adding Patricia is gross. So unlikeable. I guess that’s why Howie caved in the Slay negotiations.
