Haason Reddick is pretty much the only player like him in the league though. How many high level pass rushers are there that are only 240 pounds.

Nolan Smith would be our Parson's Project.

I had to look at last years uniforms to even understand what was changed. Apparently just the shoulder pad area. Same colors, same font, just more boring.

Nike can't get anything right.  They combat their ridiculous uniforms with the most bland, boring ones now.  I hate the leotard look that teams roll out anymore when they just got mono color from the jersey down to the sock.  Not sure why so many of the new uniforms are anti stripes.

I also hate the new trend of players untucking their shirt for official uniform photos.  It looks SO SLOPPY.

I do like the helmet and the bigger, more in depth logo.  Shame you can't even see the red speckle.

Not awful.  Just don't like how it's the same color pants and jersey.  Give some two tone.  I like the numbers though.

Please forgive me. I’m an idiot and missed all the huge changes. Perforated numbers and "Bird Gang” on the inner collar!

I’m probably in the minority, but other than two of those jerseys being Ohio State ripoffs and the giant Arizona font on the red jersey, they’re pretty good.

Reddick is 2 inches and 5-10 pounds smaller than Parsons. Either way, that's two guys in the entire league. Smith's production hasn't matched the traits but he has the traits to be a similar player to them which would make him unique.

Eagles new uniforms will probably be the same in a year or two with that same word art.

So is it fair to say that the majority would prefer Smith to Van Ness at 10 if those were the two options?

Lurie doesn't seem like he is any hurry to update the uniforms. Other than Nike screwing up the shade of green they are basically exactly the same as they were since the mid 90's when they switched to midnight green.

Those red ones are practical.  Play the game, then wear them to bed as pajamas

There has been speculation that new uniforms are on the way with their new letter font they have put in the endzones.

If Vegas or Atlanta offers just their 2024 1st straight up for 30 to get Hooker, would you do it?

You'd be severely limiting your draft options this year, but the potential for both of those teams to pick top 10 next year is pretty high.

(not that I think those teams would offer that)

I’d take the Vegas one pretty easily. They have no chance to win their division.

That man doesn't play the run.  Nolan Smith does.

Anyone see the John Bachard rumor that Van Ness is off our draft board because he took a 100 dollar bill out of a playbook that was given to him and lied about it?

No idea if that is a real story.

I thought this was maybe the only real takeaway from Roseman’s press conference today. Sounds like a man who doesn’t want to trade down from 10, but maybe 30…

"I think the most important thing for us is not necessarily to win the draft in terms of how many picks we can possibly get and how many players that we can possibly pick, but getting the right players. For us, there are going to be times where we’re sitting there and our board is going to have a big drop-off and we’ll have a trade offer to move back, and we’ll say, ‘We think the value of this pick is better than getting some of these mid-picks.’ We’ve talked a lot in this room about when you’re picking and how the odds naturally cut off at a certain point in each round and you have a better chance of hitting on guys.”

It's apparently a bit from a movie called Draft Day. Never seen it but that's what a bunch of the comments say

Bo Wulf predicted on their pod that if the Eagles can't get Jalen Carter, Paris Johnson or Christian Gonzalez then they'll choose between Nolan Smith and Van Ness.

But he and Zach didn't necessarily say it outright, but they seemed to concur the two "unique" guys Howie would want whether it's 10 or trade up are Carter or Paris Johnson.

What's unique about Paris Johnson?

Don't like the value of either at 10 but I would definitely prefer Smith to Van Ness.

They think he would be a top level tackle and heir apparent to Lane who can also play guard. And Howie really values OT.

Rather trade down at that point but ok to take Paris at 10, not trade up for him. Feels like Smith is among a few names where we accept it may just happen at 10.

I've seen various opinions on Paris. No consensus. While I obviously would trust Stoutland I don't think Bo or Berm are exactly world class talent evaluators
