Also the Eagles didn't bring Gonzalez or Witherspoon in to my knowledge.  I doubt they'll draft them.  I'd think whoever they get at 10 will be someone who visited

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

What if they worked out and zoomed Gonzales or Witherspoon?  Do we know they didn’t?

Anyone see the John Bachard rumor that Van Ness is off our draft board because he took a 100 dollar bill out of a playbook that was given to him and lied about it?

No idea if that is a real story.

It's apparently a bit from a movie called Draft Day. Never seen it but that's what a bunch of the comments say

One of my favorite movies. I watch it every year on R1 Day. It’s not winning any Oscars but I find it awesome. Costner, Jennifer Garner, and Chadwick Boseman.

Paris isn't a sexy pick. But I get it.

Draft a RG next year and the OL is completely rebuilt.

Paris offers versatility along the OL.

I do hate a Top 10 pick not starting for the next two years though.

Feel like the Super Bowl window is the most open over those seasons

We don’t know with 100% certainty. We do hear things later on sometimes. But as of now there’s been nothing

The draft stuff in it is so good too. It’s a little over the top but still somewhat plausible

Bo Wulf predicted on their pod that if the Eagles can't get Jalen Carter, Paris Johnson or Christian Gonzalez then they'll choose between Nolan Smith and Van Ness.

But he and Zach didn't necessarily say it outright, but they seemed to concur the two "unique" guys Howie would want whether it's 10 or trade up are Carter or Paris Johnson.

I heard Pat Kirwan saying today it’s doubtful Carter gets past #5 to SEA or #6 to DET.  He says he’s hearing teams are warming up to him as a prospect again after the top 30 visits.  Holmes from the Lions said in his pre-draft PC the visit made them feel better about Carter.  I already had the Lions taking Carter at #6 all along, but Kirwan is buddies with Pete Carroll, and the way he was talking today makes me think he could be on the Seahawks board at #5 also.

There’s a Paris Johnson every year in the draft IMO.  I don’t see a thing unique about him

I think Howie and all GMs for that matter will have an idea who is going where as the draft goes on. If Howie views Carter as a difference maker I can see him moving up to 5 or 6 if he has to. I think most teams in the top 10 would be more flexible than the Eagles who are on the doorstep of a Super Bowl. I could see Seattle moving down also, heard some speculation about that. Could also see them going QB.

If Arizona passes on Anderson though I think Seattle will take him. If not, I think Howie would be chomping at the bit to move up for Anderson. Moving up to 5 or 6 probably would cost a 2023 2nd and a 2024 2nd or 3rd. They have the extra 2024 2nd from NO, so it's more palatable to give up.

Have a bias as a UGA alum and diehard fan. But would I rather have Anderson or Smith, that 2023 RD2, 2024 New Orleans RD2, and possibly some 2023 mid round picks as a possible trade down from 10?

I pick the 2nd one every time.

"Unique" players the Eagles could take at 10

Jalen Carter - Plays with the athletic ability of a 290 lb DT, but the strength and power of a 330 lber.

Bijan Robinson - Best RB to come into the draft in several years. Great receiver as well as runner.

Nolan Smith - 6'2 240 lb pass rusher who is also good against the run.

Lukas Van Ness - 6'5 275 lbs yet a freak athlete. Can rush the passer from the outside like a 3-4 OLB or inside like a DT.

Calijah Kancey - Extremely undersized DT with incredible college production.

Dawand Jones - 6'8 375 lbs, enough said

Did I miss anybody?

Carter probably won't be there. No chance they take Kancey or Jones at 10. That leaves Bijan, Smith, and Van Ness unless Howie was REALLY using the term "unique" lightly.

You’d have a tough time selling Nolan Smith to me as unique when he’s being marketed to fans as a carbon copy of Haason Reddick

I don‘t really want Nolan Smith but if he is a carbon copy of Reddick sign me up.

We are drafting Robinson at 10. I'm good with it. Mazi smith at 30 or later if we trade back I reckon.

Carter had a bad interview with Seattle.

I’d take him at 10 but I’m not trading up. The guy screams red flag.

That movie is awful. I don’t get the appeal at all.

Trading 3 2’s for a top 10 pick? Or Kevin Costner running a football team?

no clue i just entered in OG's drafted between 2015-2023 that made the Pro Bowl.

Site isn't always accurate

I'm leaning towards wanting Myles Murphy at pick 10
