Some of my favorite prospects in this year’s draft, that I know the Eagles will not take:

Drew Sanders, Devin Witherspoon, Dalton Kincaid, Kendre Miller, Jordan Battle, Isiah Foskey

Trying to costanza it into existence?

you have an outside shot with Foskey, Battle and maybe Miller. I love Sanders, absolutely love. I doubt he makes it to our 2nd and even then we may not go LB there which totally sucks.

I think Campbell will be the first LB off the board near the end of the first round, then Sanders will go early second — which means the Eagles would need to be in range after a small trade-down to around 40-42.

There are quite a few prospects I like who are being discussed/mocked around the pick 30 range — Foskey, Kancey, Hyatt, Torrence, McDonald ….. I could even be talked into Nolan Smith at 30; certainly not worthy at 10, though

Even if Penny stays healthy, he's here on 1-year deal and is going to be 28.  Boston Scott turns 28 this week.

I understand a lot of the arguments surrounding not taking a RB early and one of those is because RB are past their prime at an earlier age.  Well, the Eagles are currently depending on not one but TWO RB who are over that age and one of them can't stay healthy at all.  I don't think that's anything to rely on and I would much rather the Eagles find an answer at RB, rather than piecemeal a backfield together.

Bijan Robinson is the real deal.  Not only is he a terrific RB, but he averaged over 13 yards per catch over his career at Texas.  That kind of versatility make him different than many of the backs in the draft.

If they don't take Robinson, I actually wouldn't mind seeing them double dip at RB depending on who they take.  I'd be really excited if they took a guy like Kendre Miller or Tank Bigsby and then paired him with a Devon Achane or Deuce Vaughn.

Depends on how many picks and who's available. This team needs OT/OG depth, DT depth, perhaps a slot WR, a safety and LB. Not sure they'll have the pick quantity to use two on RBs. And also if they draft two they'd have to carry 5 on the active roster which is very unlike them. I'd highly doubt they draft two.

If I knew Brown and Smith would be ok sharing touches and it wouldn't hurt the locker room, I'd rather have him than Bijan if I had to pick between the two. But I think a guy like Jalin Hyatt is a perfect fit for the Eagles and don't need to use a top 10 pick on a 3rd WR.

Yeah, the fact that WRs are divas would make JSN a tough pick to make. Based on talent and play style, I love him as a fit.

JSN might be BPA at 10. I wouldn't do it, but I'd get it.

JSN at 10 and Adebawore at 30 would be vomit-inducing.  I wouldn’t even watch the rest of the draft.

Force a trade by the Jets. Good false flag operation, Howie.

If Carter is gone, he probably is. He's really good.

Or maybe entice the Jets to jump the Titans and Texans for a QB at ten.  Maybe one of their second round choices in return for a flip from 10 to 13.  Howie is telling them if they want a bomber to consider Levis and if they want old to consider Hooker instead of Rodgers for a year or two.

Wingo and Yaris have no clue what dressing Howie likes on his salad much less who he "loves” of potential draft choices.  What they do have is a lot of spread manure in their mouths.

I'm thinking double smokescreen here. Howie is pissed that word is out about Adetowima so he's trying to extinguish that as he really does like him and also try to scare teams by throwing the JSN news out there though he's not really a target.

Desai needing 2 gappers, but Howie loving 1 gappers, is a legitimate cause for concern.

Howie needs to defer to his scouts/lieutenants on which 2 gappers we should be looking at. Howie better not square peg, round hole this draft.

USFL + its hub approach equals DIII level football

We’ve reached the "hedge your bets” part of the draft season.

Jets aren’t smart enough to trade for Rodgers and trade up for a QB

Jordan Davis is a two-gapper and Howie moved up to get him.
