Eagles trades into 6 to 8 range that make sense

to 8: 10 & 30 for 8 & 44
to 7: 10 & 94 for 7
To 6: 10 & 2024 2nd for 6

Honestly, I wouldn't do any of those except for 8. Given Jalen Carter's baggage, he's not worth trading THAT much up for.

I’d be fine with 10 and 94. With pick 30 (at that point) I’m guessing they’re going to move back and likely get a third round pick back. I wouldn’t do the deal for 6. I think that is too rich to move up. That said I don’t think Carter is getting past Seattle or the Lions. Raiders moving back makes sense unless a qb they likely falls or they deal up for a Qb.

Can't be trading the few picks we have after 30. I do like the idea of pick averaging 10 & 30 for a top pick in 1st and lowering 30 to a 2nd but I would like to see that at 5 if possible with 10 & 30 (and future 2nd/3rd) for 5 & 52.

Any shot 10 for 19 and Devin White happens if a QB falls?

We don't want Devin White.

Players I think we end up with during the draft (not at 10 and 30)

Kelee Ringo and Keeanu Benton

Any chance Lions take Richardson at 5?

Richardson is a wild card because few think he’s ready to start day one. So any team that doesn’t have a long term QB commitment is a potential landing spot. HOU, IND, LV, ATL, DET, SEA in the top 10, TEN/MIN/TB/WAS/BAL in potential trade ups

O.G. Freakbeast back in the fold

Kirk Cousins is in a contract year and they won't be bad enough next year for their 1st to be in range for one of the top QBs. They are prime trade up candidates for a QB IMO.

Really starting to think Seattle takes him at 5 (Lions are 6). Sit for a year behind Geno, and the Hawks can move on from Geno pretty easily. Could ensure job security for Carroll and Schneider when the team is sold.

Didn't Geno just sign a 3 or 4 year deal?

I still think Jalen Carter falls to 8. Between the QBs and new GMs, it's going to be easy to explain his fall.

3 year, but they can get out after one year easily:

3 but they structured it as like 3 separate 1 year deals. They have easy outs if they want. If they want to keep him, he has a bunch of guarantees that kick in each year.

Will Levis is apparently the betting favorite now to go #2 overall. Texans constantly have been putting out they don't want QB at 2. Lots of Levis to Indy smoke. Wonder who else is in the mix.

I wouldn’t entirely rule the lions out on taking a QB of stroud falls. Goff’s home and away splits the last 3 years are like night and day. The lions with as much talent as they have are unlikely picking that high again and Goff has played great at home and not good on the road. So might go Qb as they are unlikely picking thah high again and let him learn for a year. Heck been a lot of comps of stroud to Goff but with more athleticism.

I could totally see josh mcdaniels loving levis and moving up. Levis seems like a josh mcdaniels guy. Jimmy G can be the guy for a year until Levis is ready. Jimmy g contract is easy to get out of in a year

Why i don’t rule out Qb for Seahawks or lions depending on who’s there.

I have the opposite feeling. I think these things that are going around about him are pretty petty in the grand scheme. He’s not responsible for the people who died when he was racing. If Will Anderson got a ticket for street racing, does he fall out of the top 6? Definitely not. And then the overweight pro day thing, I’m only surprised he didn’t cancel it instead. There’s probably a logical reason a dude shows up that heavy, he has too many handlers watching his every step this time of year to have no reason for that to happen.

iDL is a more valuable pick than edge rusher because a dominant one is much rarer. It’s why a dude like Hargrave gets DMVP type money. I think there’s a real chance he’s the first nonQB off the board, and all this trepidation is pure media hullabaloo.

Can't beat at Sean Clifford but he is your #2 pick.

Just take your favorite defensive player and suck for a better QB next year

Lions going QB early would surprise me. They're finally playoff contenders so I would think they pick someone up with more immediate impact. Whoever they pick isn't going to start over Goff.

Eagles are trading up for Levis and will move him to TE.

I wouldn't bet on it
