Eagles trades into 6 to 8 range that make sense

to 8: 10 & 30 for 8 & 44
to 7: 10 & 94 for 7
To 6: 10 & 2024 2nd for 6

Honestly, I wouldn't do any of those except for 8. Given Jalen Carter's baggage, he's not worth trading THAT much up for.

No thank you. They already used 4 picks last year to get Davis.  Do we really want them using potentially another 3?

Are Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter worth 7 draft picks?  Nope.  Still want nothing to do with Carter, especially trading up for him,

Lions going QB would surprise me. They're finally playoff contenders so I would think they pick someone up with more immediate impact. Whoever they pick isn't going to start over Goff.

I wouldn’t be that shocked. Lions likely not picking top 10 for a while since they have more talent and Goff is good enough to get you to the playoffs but also bad enough on the road to hurt you. Last 2 years heres his home and away splits

2022:

home: 65% 23 tds, 3 ints, 0 fumbles lost and 109.3 Qb rating

Away: 64% 6 tds, 4 ints, 4 fumbles lost and 87.4 Qb rating

2021:

home: 70%, 13 tds, 3 ints, 2 fumbles lost and 99.5 Qb rating

away: 62%, 6 tds, 5 ints, 4 fumbles lost and 80.7 Qb rating

i don’t care how great goff is at home, if you play that bad on the road then eventually you are playing a road playoff game and gonna lose This has been an issue for Goff in 3 of the last 4 years so it’s not anything new. I can totally see the lions saying we let Goff play this year and see what happens. Let someone like stroud learn as they are likely not picking this high again for a while

granted this falls on if they absolutely love one of the QBs. If not don’t do it

I have the opposite feeling. I think these things that are going around about him are pretty petty in the grand scheme. He’s not responsible for the people who died when he was racing. If Will Anderson got a ticket for street racing, does he fall out of the top 6? Definitely not. And then the overweight pro day thing, I’m only surprised he didn’t cancel it instead. There’s probably a logical reason a dude shows up that heavy, he has too many handlers watching his every step this time of year to have no reason for that to happen.

iDL is a more valuable pick than edge rusher because a dominant one is much rarer. It’s why a dude like Hargrave gets DMVP type money. I think there’s a real chance he’s the first nonQB off the board, and all this trepidation is pure media hullabaloo.

Again though, it's not that he was or wasn't responsible for their deaths...it's the fact that he fled the scene while his friends were dead/dying and then lied to the police about it.  THAT is the issue.

Eagles are trading up for Levis and will move him to TE.

I'm all for it.  Goedert will miss his usual 2-3 games and Levis could fill in nicely.

Top 30 visit and conversations with Nakobe and JD will be huge factors in this (which Howie alluded to having in his pre-draft presser)

I think they either have him at the top of their board or completely off of it.  There really isn’t an in between with something like that. The fact we were one of the first teams to bring him in for a top 30 visit implies he isn’t persona non grata, and that anyone is still linked to him indicates someone out there is okay with what they’ve heard

If you have Jalen as the better player; do you take Will ahead of him because of this but still consider Jalen a top 8 prospect? That seems odd. If it’s enough to say a lower graded player is more worthwhile, then he should fall way way down like Moss or Dez. No one thinks that will happen

So really we have no idea where Carter will go

No matter what the Lions think of Goff the QB, they're not letting his woman leave town:

Whether Carter goes before 10 or not, Howie will know come draft night where he's going. He won't be taken by surprise.

I still think Jalen Carter falls to 8. Between the QBs and new GMs, it's going to be easy to explain his fall.

Agree, these QBs actually look pretty good- Richardson, Levis.. very good chance they all get taken early.

No idea. But I guess it‘s either Chicago or us.

1. Anderson

2. Carter

MAJOR GAP

3a. Devon Witherspoon

3b. Paris Johnson Jr.

4. Peter Skoronski

5. Nolan Smith

Is my list right now. I didn't put Wilson on the list because I wouldn't wanna trade up for him and I don't think he'll fall to 10.

Where does Tyree fall? No way he's behind Skoronski & Smith for me

Also there is zero talk of Eagles moving up for Anderson Jr. The silence is deafening there considering we have the assets to do so. And with recent rumors of QBs, OTs, etc someone is going to fall. If we trade up to 5-7 we should get one of Anderson/Carter.

I edited my post with that. But I'd put him 3rd.

Would be furious if that was our draft

As would I. It’s very conservative but a route I could easily see them going.

First pick is Anderson/Cater or bust for me at this point. Pick 30 is most assuredly a trade back if we trade up from 10. I don't think we make our own selection more than once between day 1 & 2. A lot of movement coming.

Fun Fact:

The Cowboys did not win a playoff game in any season where Dak threw for 4000+ yards.

Even more fun fact.  The Cowboys haven't won a playoff game since 1996.

Yeah, that TB team hardly qualifies.
