The Eagles play the Jets next year. Do we extend our undefeated streak against them?

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Good trade for both sides imo. Rodgers can take that roster far into the postseason, Jets still have good draft picks this year to load up their roster, that likely becomes a 1st next year. Only way this can go really bad for the Jets is if Rodgers plays into the divisional round and then retires after. Out a 1st with a good roster & no QB. I’m assuming Rodgers told Jets he’ll give them at least 2-3 years, no way they make that trade for only one year

Jets still aren't as good as Buffalo.  I'm not sure they're as good as Miami if Tua can stay on the field.  They're likely a wildcard team with Rodgers, and Saleh gets the honor of being thrown under the bus by Rodgers after their playoff defeat.

65% of the snaps is nothing.

Rodgers hit that in 13 of his last 15 years.

The Wentz trade had a 75% threshold.

And terrible trade for NYJ. He could retire a year from now and you lost a 1 and 2.

I agree jets could have waited them out

When the Jets start 0-7, do they sit Rodgers the rest of the year to protect their first rounder?

Jets D , with Rodgers and those weapons , one of the teams to beat now

That's actually not that great unless Hardman and Davis revive their careers.  I liked both coming out of college but they've both underperformed.  They also left out the Jets OL, which is less inspiring.

Past year They destroyed Miami in October, lost by 5 to NE in October, beat Buffalo in November, lost by 7 to NE in November (score was 3-10), lost by 8 to Buffalo in December, lost by 5 to to Miami in January (score was 6-11). You telling me a strong QB doesn’t put them over the hump in those games?

That roster can contend with any of those teams, now they have the QB skilled enough to beat them. I think Jets can certainly be in that conversation of top 8 teams in AFC, maybe even top 6 now.

It will be interesting. Rodgers has benefited from being "King of the North" in a small market that tolerates his weirdness and, at times, bad play and leadership. Could be lots of fun with the Post and the Daily News in a market that loves to break folks down. I don't think there will be much of a honeymoon. Best pack enough shrooms for the season...

Wilson and Lazard are decent 1-2 punch, Breece Hall was an animal before his injury, they have pick 15 and 2nd rounder to help their OL out

Jets should be a pretty good team. They played competitive last year in most games even with Zach Wilson and Mike White starting. I don't think they are a true Super Bowl contender, but wouldn't be surprised if they give the Bills some competition and end up with the 5th seed.

He's gonna miss his Packers O-line something fierce.

I was slightly nervous that he'd go to SF.

I still think there is a very, very good chance Purdy could flop. In his 8 games before traveling to Philly, he had 6 home games and 2 road games. The road games were about 1.5 hour flights (SEA + LV). He had an unusually comfortable start to his career. I'm not saying he's going to suck, but if I was a Niner fan, I would not be confident.

Rodgers to NYJ is great news for us, one less strong QB to worry about in our conference

I think the farthest their potential is, which is ironic giving Rodgers history, is championship game. Doubt they get past the Chiefs

Who is coming up for the 10 pick?

I think there's a very, very good chance Purdy is never heard from again in any meaningful fashion.

Purdy was awful vs Dallas. Only Dak and Diggs being worse saved him.

Purdy had an insanely easy button streak before that game and he had lots of pick drop luck on top of that.

I have zero confidence in Purdy.

Wonder if Zach Wilson gets traded in next couple days, or if Jets think the opportunity for him to sit and develop behind Rodgers for couple years will be beneficial

Rodgers must have gave some assurances he’d play at least 2 years

Was he high when he said it is the question. Cause he might not remember it then

Exactly; Joe Douglas should have insisted the conditional pick become a 4th if Rodgers walks away after 2023.

Joe Douglas isn't a good GM

Supposedly, that's their plan.

i tend to think the packers were more willing to wait than the jets would be and seeing if the market opened up with some other teams down the road and the financial ramifications we talked about a couple weeks back would be less for Gb in 2023 if they did. It’s why Gb held true to what they wanted. the jets lost the game of chicken and caved cause for months they said they didn’t want to include a potential 2024 pick especially not a first. For the exact reason you are talking about

If there was any WR strength in this draft I'd say GB, but they can pretty much sit at #13 and take what's on the board at TE or WR.

If there's a QB on the board I would say Washington.  They say it's bad business to let a divisional rival trade up for their QB of the future, but when the QB prospect is bad it's good business.
