We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

If it's not those then Jeff Lurie's ability to read the room needs to seriously be questioned.

So the top 3 is going to be Levis, Wilson, Johnson??

What dumpster fire organizations stay dumpster fire organizations.

I just don't understand the overthinking of Will Anderson. So he's half an inch shorter, 7 lbs lighter, .02 off the 40 slower, and arms are 1/8 inch shorter than ideal... Seriously, this is why he has supposedly capped upside?

He's gonna have 13 sacks next year and make it look easy.

Not overthinking at all.  Simply stating he's better off in a certain scheme.  He's not a 4-3 DE.  He's a Hasson Reddick type of player which is some sort of hybrid rush DE/OLB.

When you look at Trent Cole, the guy had a serious base and room to grow.  Both Cole and Hugh Douglas just had enormous thighs and thick lower halves that were imperative to their style of playing DE. They were both able to add bulk.

When I look at Will Anderson, I see an athlete with a lean muscle build.  I don't think it will be easy for him to pack on any sustainable and useable weight.  He might rock up a little bit but all that's going to do is make him more cut up.  I think Anderson is a helluva player and by all accounts he's an even better man and teammate.  Would have no issue if he was an Eagle.  Just need realistic expectations for what kind of player he is going to be.

Is he a base 4-3 DE? No, that isn't ideal.  Can Anderson play in a 5-1, 2-4-5, as W9 DE in 4DL, yes.  Desai would have to be actively picking a new scheme to exclude him or more likely inserting him in the wrong subpackages to really screw it up.

Imo it’s less about Anderson and more teams falling in love with Wilson’s length and size along with what he could be at the next level.

Let me clarify that if Will Anderson is available, the Eagles should get him.  I'm not knocking him at all.  I was making the argument for Wilson over Anderson because of his more natural scheme fit.

I don't really want them trading up, I'd rather they sit at 10 or trade back.  If they draft Carter then I know they did their diligence and research for off the field issues and character so I'd trust them on that part, but I don't want to trade additional picks again since they have a lot of needs for starters and depth.

He’s slow off the ball, apparently has bad feet, older and despite his physical talent (untested) has had mediocre production in the Big12 because of poor technique.  But he looks the part… I’m not Wilson’s biggest fan, but I’m sure the coaches think they have a lot to work with.

I think that's right.  Wilson's physical traits are enticing.

Just depends on the compensation. We have an extra 2nd next year as well to play with. If there’s someone they see as a Can’t miss, you gotta go get him

He definitely wants to be an Eagle

I heard they are trading all of their picks to move up to 3 for Carter.  It's like the Saints Ricky Williams trade.

There’s no better fit tbh. Most highly drafted RBs go to bad teams and waste their first contracts being run into the ground. He’d be on a team with many weapons, a great OL/QB and would get 15-25 touches a game through the run and pass game.

That's just the power of Jalen.  One of the most respected players in the game that people want to play with.

To me, the only major i have with Wilson is that he had 2 lis franc injuries. Not just one but two. So better know he’s gonna recover fully and be fine cause if not you wasted a top 5 pick on a guy coming into the league with an injury. I love Wilson the player though. He’d be awesome to watch in midnight green if healthy. Texans have demeco as HC I’m guessing he absolutely loves the kid.

I want to hear at least one prospect say "Kirk Cousins? No way do I wanna play with that guy"

Eli Manning did that to an entire organization

Watch the Texans take Wilson at 2 and then bijan at 12. Just run the ball every play with Pierce and bijan.
