I like the mock drafts that have Jake Witt on them.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Agreed - and with the practice squad changes, it’s practical to stash these projects on the 53.

Question is… will the 7th be Witt or Witt out?

I'm going to predict even if Jalen Carter is on the board at #10, the Eagles leave him on the board.

Howie answered the question about Carter in the PC by saying they would go with what Dom DiSandro says about any off-field concerns and they trust his team's judgement -- so he's either on their board or off their draft board entirely.  My hunch is, even if Dom clears him that he's not at the top of the Eagles list.  I think he's overrated as a prospect but to me it will come down to character.

The Eagles missed on both the Dillard and Reagor picks, not because they were bad guys, because they didn't live and breathe football.  I've been hearing a lot leading up to the draft from these prospects that they're being asked "how much do you love football?".  I think it's fair to say both Dillard and Reagor were not all business all the time.  Dillard was beaten out by a 7th round pick who wanted to be great, and Reagor kept saying a lot on social media about wanting to prove people wrong, but proved people right with what he brought to the field.

Contrast with Hurts and DeVonta Smith.  I seriously doubt either of these guys even go to parties.  Smith gives off the Jerry Rice "all business all the time" vibe, as does Hurts.  The jury is still out on Jordan Davis, but he seems more quiet and down to business as well.  I think the success the Eagles have had with Hurts and Smith will shape some of what they look for and draft in the near term.

Carter has a lot of red flags that have been discussed.  Even ignoring the racing episode, I think the part that will turn the Eagles off are the reports of poor practice habits and the poor Pro Day performance.  Add the stuff McShay reported about "not taking care of his business the right way"

IMO if Howie is picking at 10 and it's a choice between Carter and Nolan Smith, he'll pick Nolan Smith all day.  It wouldn't be my favorite pick but that's the way I think it will go.

He's not tiny.  6'1" I believe.  But does have short arms.

He was 178lbs in the combine and played around 170 for Michigan. His combine numbers don't match his games. I would pass

Georgia strength coach will probably tell the best picture of Carter.

i assume with Stafford being hurt and murray that’s why they are lower than lance, love and and Daniel jones

NFC is trash

Wait… Do you ACTUALLY think that someone  from the Eagles is gonna come on here and go , "damn that Random Reglar dude is insightful. We should really just draft versatile freakbeasts.”   Bro, do you need some money? I’m just assuming you’re out of whatever medication you’re supposed to be on.

I said before free agency last year we were going to sign Zach Pascal. Clearly Howie got the idea from reading my post. We should really be behind a paywall.

Howie is going to thrive without the banned posters

Glad to see they know what we want!

I dunno. We’ve been a little too pro-Howie, we gotta keep that fire lit and not let him get too comfortable.

I'm glad ESPN/ABC is splitting their focus so I can choose more draft and less story. I still have my doubts I'll like the coverage. I just want draft coverage to talk about the last pick and not about what happened yesterday.

Lol. Maybe Kyler should actually be the GM.

Besides Zaven Collins they passed on Humphrey again to take Rondale Moore lol

He should’ve lobbied for them not to draft him

He was studying to be a GM instead of the playbook.

I haven't watched draft coverage for years. I just follow the picks online and discuss.  Twitter has the picks before the TV anyway

It’s hard working two full-time jobs.

The prospect breakdowns aren’t even good anymore. They spend about 2 minutes on it, if that. On day 3 you might get 30 seconds.

Ian Book probably shouldn't buy green bananas.  Seems like they are exploring getting a 3rd QB who can be a more cost effective backup in 2024.

He has a lot of experience playing GM on Madden

far far too many stories for the feels, people announcing the picks and other crap.  Would be great if the RZ channel could be used to just give pick by pick breakdown, highlights and team fits.

Accounting for the fact that the Colts and Texans are drafting qbs high round 1, Hurts and Dak are the only qbs in the entire NFC that would start for anyone in the AFC.

Cousins vs Mac Jones is a bit of a gray area, but between Jones’ youth and the possibility that the Patriots end up adding to the position anyway, I’m not penciling Cousins in as the Pats starter.

Listening to BwF, Mike Missanelli fell for the Lukas Van Ness/Eagles dollar story.
