In the next few years, yes.  Eagles have a window of an elite offense they need to take advantage of and beat way to do that would be to add Bijan to the mix.  Especially when the NFC is so depleted of good QBs.  We might have the best offense in the league with Bijan added to the fold.

So many want to add DL/OL this year.  I don't think any of the available OL/DL that are in the Eagles range are elite.  Bijan is elite.  They have pick 30 to go OL/DL as well as 12 picks next year.  I don't see a RB close to Bijan in college football next year so getting another player like him isn't going to happen.  I've said it a few times but next years DL class has some studs that I would take over every DL available in this class.

No, I'd want a bit more.  a 3rd/4th would sweeten that deal.

They did have the Jalen Reagor selection correct at least

That's what I was going to say.  You'd have to be sure the guy you like is getting to 13 or be completely agnostic between a few guys.  And agnostic between a few guys is a bad place to be imo

No, I'd do 10 and 94 for 14 and 46 though

I'm going to throw out a take and you tell me if you agree or disagree.

Paris Johnson or Skoronski starting 4 games at RT in place of a banged up Lane Johnson for the Eagles in 2023 would be more valuable to the Eagles than Bijan Robinson starting 17 games for the Eagles.

My case: the Eagles record without Lane Johnson is pretty horrendous(some of it is contextual admittedly, but still) and the Eagles tend to have a successful running game no matter who is in their backfield.

I think that is a bit myopic though. Let's draft a player at 10 that MAY need to start if someone gets hurt, otherwise they will not really play for at least 2 years, but let's not draft the guy that everyone says is a generational talent, at a position of need, that will start day one because teams typically dont draft those type of players high.

I would also throw something else out there. The Eagles run game was only deadly because of the threat of Jalen Hurts. When he was hurt, the run game suffered and had their lowest output of the year because nobody was afraid of the run game. If they draft Bijan and if Jalen gets hurt, the run game will not suffer as badly as it did with Minshew in there.

Never mess with future hall of famer, Lane Johnson.

This, if Paris Johnson was a special talent at Offensive Tackle he wouldn't make it to 10 or be consisitently ranked in the prospect rankings behind a guy who everyone thinks is moving to Guard at the next level, and if he isn't a stand out talent at Offensive Tackle, we've no business spending a top ten pick on him to compete with Jurgens at Right Guard for the year and maybe spelling the starter.

Can we get one of these for the Phanatic to just spray the crowd with hot dogs?

I think Paris will go higher. Can't trust all this media noise.

Or he might get anxiety and leave

I don't see the Eagles taking Witherspoon or Gonzalez but one might very well fall to them

Probably. It works value wise, but it would depend on who’s there. If one of my targeted guys slipped past nine, I’d just stand pat and take him.

A genuinely blue chip Left Tackle wouldn't get by the Cardinals and I haven't seen a mock put him in the top 5 at all.

He needs a better anchor, and isn't a mauler (go figure).  I see him being somewhere between adequate and Andre Dillard - that's a tough pill after watching Lane for a decade.

Yea and I want Jordan Davis to worry about Jordan Davis right now. Not keeping others in line.

Amen. I have high hopes for him this year. If they run a lot of 5-2, he's going to be the lynchpin of that line in the middle.

Absolutely agree, but plenty of uber athletes have flamed out for a lack of hard work and love of the game.  That concern about Carter is real and if he drops, that is the reason why.  By the same token, some players where that was a concern put their nose to the grindstone when they realize the income they can enjoy with the effort.  Hopefully if the Eagles pursue him they have done their homework on him. Nowadays, how the player uses the offseason matters in building and maintaining an NFL body.

Carter seems to be the opposite of Jalen. My thought process is I'm looking at #10 as a "bonus pick." I'm ok with a little risk or going against norms. If there is no shot at Anderson, Wilson, or Carter I'd be ok with them bucking trends and taking Bijan. If they stay put, I think the most likely pick is Nolan Smith.

Lane is the best T in the league. He's right. Castonzo couldn't hold his jock.

There's been some smoke about Paris at 3...Murray is apparently clamoring for him. Of course, he's clamored for others the past few years, and they weren't taken.

Sure

Count me in the club of we should trade back a few spots if we can- open to 11-15 for some extra pics...

also open to sliding out of the 30th pick 2-5 slots as well for extra pics.

That’s an amazing Lane story. Castonzo was no slouch, so for him to get pushed off and be right is incredible.

Trade value is relative to who’s on the board.

Miles Sanders with an average Oline, rookie QB, and just dumped their star WR. Over/Under on 4.3 ypc?

Pauline has Carter falling to 12
