How many wide receivers do the jets need? If they took JSN then they’d have JSN, Wilson, Lazard, Davis, hardman and mims. No way they keep all those guys if they took JSN

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

If the Vikings sell the farm to move from 23 to 10 are you happy with that?

Are you OK with 2 1sts next year and some extra picks and you can still get 2 very good players in round 1?

They could very easily stay put and draft Hooker, who I think will be better than Levis and Richardson.

Just watched the UGA defense vs Florida offense - Carter got low and pushed O'Cyrus off the LoS against the run (wow), and was a 2-way go when 1-gapping.  He essentially had to be double-teamed or he was winning his snaps.  That's a unique player.

And O'Cnyrus is a load. I think he'll end up being the best OL in this draft, given good coaching.

There doesn't seem to be a consensus favorite fan pick at #10.  When they drafted DeVonta Smith and Jordan Davis they were generally embraced (of course you always have some critics).  But generally fans and media thought they were solid picks.

I feel like whatever they do at #10 is going to be very mixed reviews.

It's 1999 redux. All the WIP caller types want Bijan and are going to scream when we don't take him.

They're going to try an innovative formation with a C and two G's with 6 WR's and a TE out on routes.

I take Smith over Bijan every time.

My draft board is something like:

Significant trade up: Anderson Jr

Lesser trade up (6-9): Carter*, Wilson (*Carter still worries me)

Stay at 10: Witherspoon, Gonzalez, Paris

Trade back (11-23): Nolan, Murphy, Banks, Porter Jr, Torrence, Bijan maybe

This draft stinks. Hoping we trade up for Anderson or back to get a 2024 1st.

I think the Eagles select a player at #10 and trade down from 30.  The motivation to trade back from #10 is either:

A)  There are 4-5 players available you grade evenly, where you're comfortable to trade back a few spots and still land a player you covet.  Highly unlikely at 10

B)  There is no one left on the board you had a top 10-12 grade on, so trading out makes the most sense to recoup extra picks.  I think there will be 1-2 guys at #10

C)  There is a trade-up offer too good to pass up.  I don't think anyone is trading up a long way for either Levis or Richardson, especially with Hooker available.

A trade down from #30 makes more sense to me, as option A is much more likely in that spot and there will be a team (or teams) wanting to get back into the first round for the fifth year option on a prospect.

The points on trading down from #30 are right: 5th year has value to some teams.  Besides, end of 1st round is not much different from top 2nd round.  We can use extra picks by trading down.

Of course, but most casual fans are all in on Bijan because they don't understand positional value. I see it with people like my brother -- he's more of a fairweather fan and is 100% on the Bijan hype train.

For me it's simple -- trade up for Anderson or Carter. At 10, take Johnson or Smith, unless you can trade back and think Smith will still be there in the teens.

They must have read Reglar's stuff.

Agree with this, but I'd be surprised if we went CB at 10. I'd like it, but doesn't seem likely to happen.

Might also play into the if the jets and packers deal would’ve fallen through they were interested.

I can’t imagine they go CB with their first pick. Even if it’s the BPA.

Tommy Lawler on a recent BGN podcast.  Never heard him speak before, was not expecting the sort of country accent.

Why? He will get injured just like every other 9ers QB. They are cursed.

He's from NC, I think - not sure what his connection is to the Eagles originally.

Send them our 2024 2nd, not the Saints pick. I'd gamble on injuries for the talent.

"Hi, Eric DeCosta?  This is John Lynch from the 49ers.  As you know, we're really tired of our QBs constantly getting injured and not being able to finish seasons.  Is there a way you'd be willing to part with your Cal Ripken/Lou Gehrig-style Iron Man-of-a-QB?"

Why would it be bad for a stacked 49ers team that the only positin they are missing is a QB to get one of thr best QBs in the league?  Hmm I don't know, good question.
