Yeah i think that’s in their back pocket. They see what lance looks like in camps and if he looks bad they go to Brady.

I'd have Lamar bottom of the top 10. But the gap between him and Hurts/Burrow is much bigger than the gap between him and Dak.

Gabbert is still in the NFL and some pretty good coaches value him as a backup QB.  He has built a decent career as a clipboard holder (guess we need to change that to a Microsoft tablet holder nowadays - do kids even know what we mean when we describe a G as good in a phone booth nowadays?). Cam had a shorter but more successful career. Last two QBs that Gabbert backed up are Brady and Mahommes.

Just putting this out there. I suggested a trade for Chase Young months ago. His injury might be worse than we think but he's an elite talent and just turned 24.  I'm taking a chance on him if it's there.  I'd do 30 for Young and 47 in a heartbeat.

I have no proof of this, especially since the Eagles have had questionable medical care in the past, but I'd assume given the mess that Washington has been under Dan Snyder that Young could come here and get better treatment on his knee if needed too.

Nobody is saying it would be bad, just that it would not be the sky is falling moment for the rest of the league you'd think it is. Lamar has enough of an injury problem on his own. Put him in Shanahan's scheme, I'd be shocked if he got 10 games in.
