Is it possible for the Eagles to trade 10 and 30 for pick 4 and 49?

I'm not certain, but it seems feasible.

Honestly, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Anderson is a monster.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

I think Lamar could be that absolute shock, only team linked to him

San Fran as well

I'm excited for tomorrow night. End the night with Paris Johnson, Will Anderson, Jalen Carter, Tyree Wilson and Bijan Robinson and it's a pretty good draft. B+ though because we didn't trade up for a corner.

There’s so much smoke and when it clears it will be the Eagles on the clock picking Anderson. Book it.

When they trade up for Nolan Smith I'm blaming you

I also considered Howie liking the idea of grabbing Richardson.  It's entirely his MO.  He is the QB factory after all.

But he just can't do it at 10.  If he fell to 30 it would not shock me, but he won't fall.

Since that "QB factory" comment, he hasn't drafted another QB.  He's signed backups and grabbed undrafted free agents like any team does.  He has since said he regrets that QB factory comment because people over use it.

Hurts was insurance since Wentz had ended the season injured 3 years in a row.  People were shocked and some were upset so I think Howie was trying to list multiple reasons to draft a QB.  He talked about insurance for Wentz, an asset for potential trade, and ways to utilize him on the field together.  Fans and media created a narrative that he would be a Taysom Hill gadget backup QB.  Doug even tried to use him like that.

Since then, they haven't drafted a QB and they won't this year at #10 that's silly.

I think he's a little gun shy on that front after Wentz went all mental after it. I am sure it was a combination of the hit and then feeling like the team didn't believe in him after he started off so poorly and they put in Hurts, but still. No need to rock the boat too hard, a little sure, but not too hard.

How would people feel about taking whomever at 10 and flipping a pick from next year along with 30 for Bijan if he falls?

Just curious.

I'd start a petition for Howie to be fired.

Gave it a shot

Trading up for anyone other than Anderson or Wilson is foolish in my opinion.

You'd have Howie get fired if he moved up a bit to get Bijan? Now I'm not saying trade up to 14 for him, but you'd be that upset if we jumped from 30 to 25 and snagged him in front of Dallas?

I don't want to go too far into Wentz' issues, but after seeing his backup win a SB and then a playoff game, the injuries, drafting Hurts 2nd...his confidence was shaken.

Hurts has been to a SB already, was considered an MVP candidate, would have easily won SB MVP had they won and they know he is mature and confident and is mentally tough.  They already have a backup now, but if they were to draft a QB even in the 2nd or 3rd (they shouldn't, just for argument sake), Hurts would not lose confidence.  He knows he's the franchise.

I'm not religious, but I am praying hard right now for Robinson at 10

Yes. No interest in wasting a first round pick on a RB. We can just sign Cook for 1 year, $4-5 million when Minny cuts him.

EDIT: If he dropped to 30, I'd be OK with it. But no way I'm giving up any additional assets to move up for a RB.

I don't want Bijan, but that sure is tempting.

I stand by my prediction. It’s Bijan.

Neither do I.  Even the FO are thinking, you know what, let's watch that tape again.........

Sure there is, the pass rushers go and he’s left.

I don’t think moving up is a smokescreen. When you make calls that’s going to get out. The years the Eagles moved up. It leaked a few days before that they wanted to move up. It fits Howie’s MO it shouldn’t be a surprise. He moves up a lot. He goes after guys he really wants.

Can somebody that knows OL play better shed some light if the Skoronski/Rashwan Slater comp holds up? Similar RAS, similar measurements etc. If he can turn into a Slater lite at OT when Lane steps away I'd take him as RG in the meantime.

Pass rushers and Paris are gone at 10 they're going to trade back...or end up reaching on one of the next tier pass rushers like Van Ness/Smith
