Shady makes a great point here.  Robinson is a true 3 down back.  You don't have to take him off the field.  Wouldn't having a player like that make the offense a little bit more unpredictable?  Not that the current scheme is predictable, but I'd imagine that when opposing teams are studying film, they know the offenses tendencies when Gainwell is on the field vs. when Scott is on the field.  

 

None of this matters because after all of this talk about trading up for pass rushers, taking Robinson or trading down, the Eagle are going to do the most Eagles thing ever and pick Skoronkski at 10.

"Home Game".  Such a bad strategy for the USFL.  There's literally no Philly fanbase for the Stars.  If they were playing here, even at a smaller stadium, there would be true Philly fans supporting this team and the league.

I like Jake Witt.   Was a college TE.  Was a college basketball player.  Quite raw, only played OL for a year and a half. Raw versatile freakbeast on day 3.

Listen to Jordan palmer’s interview on 975 from Tuesday afternoon. He talked to Paris johnson. Johnson told him he played wide receiver then tight end then offensive line cause he couldn’t catch well so coaches slowly kept moving in closer and closer to the ball.

The reason I'm leaning against the Howie taking Skoronski is that he's technically so good.  And Howie has said Stout can fix technique so I don't think he'd want to pay the baked in price of someone who is already achieving because of his technique.

That’s for later round picks though. At 10 you want the most complete player. I don’t think they’d poo poo a guy who’s ahead of the curve

Bucs rarely trade up , and they are in rebuild process , I would guess they wait until they see what Trask can do , and if Mayfield can get it together . Not to mention far better QB class next year .  I think they will draft a QB at some point , so they have 3 on roster , but not until mid to late rounds .

yes, Skoronski is complete. The problem is he's got a hard ceiling and he's already reached it. There are quite a number of players with higher ceilings.

When was the last time the eagles drafted a first round OL who wasn’t a freakish athlete?

Thats pretty much our MO. Take rare athletes and give them to Stout. I’d be truly disappointed if we took Skoronski.

Beyond him probably being gone I wonder how much he really wants to play RG. If I were him I'd prefer to be drafted by a team who starts me at OT right away
