We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

I can’t remember if he was a great athlete or not but it’s well documented that he just didn’t want to play football

He was not a great athlete.

Are you watching live so we can talk about it or do we need to wait until you get home?

I've talked myself into wanting Njigba at 10.  Can play inside/outside and matchup nightmare... Quez played 58% of the offensive snaps last year.  Smith was 92% and Brown 85%.  No reason we can't lighten the load for those two a little bit.

yes, Skoronski is complete. The problem is he's got a hard ceiling and he's already reached it. There are quite a number of players with higher ceilings.

Also the kind of skillset he has makes more of a marginal difference at the next level.  So, I am not sure that he will turn out to be anything other than a functional starter.  I really do not see how he compares to Zack Martin. Martin had a much better anchor and was a powerful blocker in college.  He didn't get bull rushed.  Skoronski isn't that style of player.   Skoronski reminds me more of Seumalo.  He moves his feet to get to the block.  He uses leverage and body position rather just pure strength.

When was the last time the eagles drafted a first round OL who wasn’t a freakish athlete?

Thats pretty much our MO. Take rare athletes and give them to Stout. I’d be truly disappointed if we took Skoronski.

Skoronski did test well in terms of athletic ability.  His RAS score was a 9.3.  I do get it in terms of size.

Thank you sincerely for being so entertaining. I laugh more at your posts than anyone else’s on the EMB.

I am offended.

I very doubt it's JSN but the we have a complete faith in Quez was a kiss of death kind of statement

If we pass on Christian Gonzalez for a 2nd tier edge-rusher, I'll be upset.

No pac- 12 in rd 1 pls

k thx oh and no TCU

I don’t think there’s much drop off from the 1st and 5th-6th CB taken this year

Nope, feel the same way.  I feel the same about the DL and OL prospects too.  I think they can get the same quality player at pick 30 as they would if they force a pick at 10, especially considering if they go DL that guy is only playing 50% of the snaps.

There's no safety or LB worth pick 10.  They aren't taking a QB.  WR is weak. although JSN is coming in extremely under the radar.  Had he been healthy and played a full year after his Rose Bowl performance, he'd be in the top 10 conversation.  I think he's going to be a steal and if he's the pick at 10, I'd have no complaints.

TE has the best top to bottom talent.

Quite honestly, the only player who is heads and shoulders above the rest of the players in his position group is Bijan Robinson.

I'll be live. I'm skipping my son's baseball game tonight for this.

Happy Lukas Van Ness day everyone!!

The LVN talk has cooled off quite a bit, thankfully.

One of my favorite players in the draft

You laugh, but this website is a valuable resource for Howie and co to get insight on what players to watch for, potential trades, how to run the team, etc.

It's so useful that the team itself did away with it!

Wait...

Be sure to send along some film of him doing anything from the outside.  Zero interest in spending the 10th overall pick on a guy who would be/should be the 4th or 5th target in the offense.

Ecstatic: Anderson

Very pleased: Wilson, Carter, Witherspoon

Cool: Gonzalez, Paris

Draft kinda sucks so I get it: Nolan, Bijan, JSN

Please no: Skoronski, Van Ness

I’m pretty similar, but would be thrilled with Gonzalez and cool with Skoronski. He’s boring, but I’m not gonna argue with Stout.

I could bump up Gonzalez actually. It's too bad we brought Slay back because this is a great CB draft. Should've spent that money elsewhere. Howie's one bad move this offseason IMO.

I interpret your post to mean at #10 overall, but I'll give mine for the draft Day 1 and 2:

Ecstatic -- Anderson

Very pleased -- Witherspoon, Gonzalez, Murphy, Sanders

Cool -- Paris Johnson, Josh Downs, Campbell, Foskey, Addison

I get it -- Skoronski, Bijan, Nolan Smith

Please No -- Van Ness, Carter, Forbes

F No -- JSN

If the board breaks the way it might where 1 QB falls, we should absolutely trade back. I hope Howie has the discipline to do it at 10. I know he will at 30.
