So more buzz that Anderson is going 2 to Houston and Tennessee is trading up to 3.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

I interpret your post to mean at #10 overall, but I'll give mine for the draft Day 1 and 2:

Ecstatic -- Anderson

Very pleased -- Witherspoon, Gonzalez, Murphy, Sanders

Cool -- Paris Johnson, Josh Downs, Campbell, Foskey, Addison

I get it -- Skoronski, Bijan, Nolan Smith

Please No -- Van Ness, Carter, Forbes

F No -- JSN

Yeah at #10. I think we trade back from 30 most likely.

Houston isn't a smart franchise so lets hope they go elsewhere

One of my favorite players in the draft

Is he injured?  Didn't see any Pro Day or Combine results for him other than 25 reps on bench.  Do you see him as an OG or C ?

Be sure to send along some film of him doing anything from the outside.  Zero interest in spending the 10th overall pick on a guy who would be/should be the 4th or 5th target in the offense.

Iowa State WR is the same player. Can have him a round later.

If we pass on Christian Gonzalez for a 2nd tier edge-rusher, I'll be upset.

I’d imagine the Lions or Raiders will snatch him up

Would anyone like me to create a discord channel specifically for the draft?

You laugh, but this website is a valuable resource for Howie and co to get insight on what players to watch for, potential trades, how to run the team, etc.

It's so useful that the team itself did away with it!

Wait...

It's pretty obvious if you just open your eyes!  Howie orchestrated everything:

  • Shut down the EMB, other GMs were reading it to steal Howie's idea think tank
  • Push Reddit and Facebook, flood them with plants to post false info and smokescreens
  • Get VA to start a secret new EMB to mine for ideas; don't even fund it make them collect donations and Amazon links to not tip anyone off
  • Get unique ideas like drafting Bijan or a lineman, no one else is talking about that
  • Discover gems like Superweaponz and Freakbeasts
  • Championship

The only prediction I'm brave enough to make is Howie WILL NOT draft #10 and #30.

He will make moves, probably down at #10 b/c I don't think there's anyone worth moving up for at #10.

#30 is a different story, if someone they love falls 10 slots into the 20s, look for him to make a move.

I can see Howie going crazy b/c they don't need any specific position (who in this draft would start for the Eagles as a rookie outside of Bijan?) so he can focus on depth and upside.

Are you watching live so we can talk about it or do we need to wait until you get home?

He will twitter spoil as always

I think spoiling on day 3 is fair game. The networks barely care about the picks.

The only prediction I'm brave enough to make is that a substantial proportion of the board will be disappointed tomorrow.

If we aren't getting Carter, Anderson, Wilson, or Johnson trading down is the obvious move to make. Hopefully they are able to find a trading partner so we have to hope that one or two of the QB's are there at 10. I really just don't see a big difference in the guys likely to go around 10 versus the guys likely to go between 15-30. They might be super high on someone like Skoronski, Smith, or Van Ness and if so they should just take them but I can only judge things on the hours of time I have spent reading and listening to a lot of people who know a lot more than I do.

Jalen Carter would likely start…or would soon enough if not week 1

JSN as well in the slot

Either G/C. Depends on how Jurgens does at RG - and he would compete for that spot too. He has shorter arms but is super athletic.

Same player as who?

If the board breaks the way it might where 1 QB falls, we should absolutely trade back. I hope Howie has the discipline to do it at 10. I know he will at 30.

If the 4th QB falls to 10 then maybe no team wants  him at 10.  Plenty of QBs have fallen much further in the past

Kempski has the Eagles trading with the Raiders at 7 and taking Carter over Gonzalez.

Sounds like Justin Jefferson debate

That would be fantastic and makes a ton of sense. What did they trade to move up to 7? I'm thinking 94 and a 3rd next year could get it done if they are motivated to move down.

I think this is the one thing we all agree on.  The question with the trade up from 30 is if that player is THAT much better than either who he could get at 30 or the value of what they could get from trading down from 30.

I'd imagine before Howie makes any more up he has a feel for any team that might be trying to get in to the 1st round and what the price they might pay is.

If the Eagles trade up from 30 to get a player that is OK but doesn't really move the needle and then we see a team at 28/29 move down and pick up a 2024 1st, I think we'd all prefer the extra 1st.

There are so many scenarios we can talk about and who knows how it's going to play out.  Is there an established vet worth pick 10?  Vet worth pick 30?  Are there teams willing to trade up at 10 and 30?  Which players fall that might make it easier to justify moving up?  If they stay at 10 and no one wants to move up, who truly is BPA?  Are there any players the Eagles can package with a pick?  What picks next year will Howie be willing to move?

I've never been more indecisive on what I think and what I want the Eagles to do in the draft.

Olave and Garrett Wilson both said Njigba the best of the 3 and on another level than them

Devon did an interesting exercise on the fanatic last night with the premise that they stay at 10 and it was this:

What do you want the Eagles to do at 10?  Draft Parris Johnson

What do you think the Eagles will do at 10?  Draft Nolan Smith

What is a bold prediction for what they could do at 10?  Draft Jaxon Smith-Njigba

Also for 30:

What do you want the Eagles to do at 30?  Draft Calijah Kancey

What do you think the Eagles will do at 30?  Draft Adetomiwa Adebawore

What is a bold prediction for what they could do at 30?  Draft Jahmyr Gibbs

I think several linebackers and safeties in this draft would start over what we have. And it isn't a great draft for either spot.
