Well, yeah.  My expectation based on his film is the 5th or 6th round .... so he's going a LOT higher.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

I've seen him mocked to the Colts plenty so "a lot higher" is hyperbole unless he goes number 1.

So many people are just throwing crap to the wall and hoping it sticks. I hope after the draft that people don't let them forget

What's with this teams weird kink of rolling down windows and shouting at people?

I wasn't going to post if it was just some random draft guy but he's an NFL agent so he probably knows more than most do.

Richardson is #2 on Carolina's board FYI. Fitterer/Reich want Bryce, but Tepper was pushing Richardson.

I like it.

Bijan's touches would not be as meaningful as JSN's. Penny/Gainwell/Scott/other rookie, are likely to be just as productive as Bijan.  That's the thing with him is that he wouldn't likely be more productive than any other average RB.  JSN would be significantly more productive than Watkins or any other reciever.  Last season the top 3 accounted for 238 receptions.  There were 112 other receptions in the offense all by receivers (with the exception of Calcaterra) who average near or below 10 yards a reception.  JSN could easily get 50 catches and easily average 3-5 yards more a reception.  It would be a net gain in passing yards of closer to 300 yards in offense.  He also would make things easier for the other receivers in the passing game more than Bijan would impact the passing game.  Bijan isn't likely to average any more yards per carry than Gainwell, Scott, Penny or Sermon.  Rookie RB's rarely get close to 5 yards per carry and that's what it would take.

Don't agree. Bijan's would be a heavy contributor in the passing game and not just on screens. Wheel routes, which we hardly ran last year but which used to be a big part of our repertoire, will be back in. Bijan can drop into the slot as well and how many LBs are there in the league that could cover him? A huge improvement over Sanders.

That's not including the greater threat he presents in the run game than any RB we have. Again, a big improvement over Sanders, not only as a runner but as the R in RPOs.

30 would be insane value. Can’t be worse than Marcus Smith, Reagor, or Danny Watkins.

He's from NC, I think - not sure what his connection is to the Eagles originally.

He didn't originally have a team but loved Buddy's defense with the bears, so when he became coach of the Eagles he made that his team.

Or at least that's the story I got when we met up at TC back in 2006

I didn't think you guys were posting random tweets anyway lol

I'd just hope these reporters have to eat their words if they end up being wrong tonight

Siri is the best!

Of course if he was the coach of any other team I would probably hate his guts.

Every will be wrong lol. Mock drafts, "insiders”, and all that BS goes out the window after the first 3 picks or so. Maybe from the first pick tonight. They don’t know anything.

Important to remember this going into the draft.  Sometimes the group think amongst analysts and scouts can be off.  Going to try to keep an open mind whatever the Birds do and trust their evaluation.

It's just what the finer folks in our society do.

For the younger folks... yes, this was actually a commercial, once upon a time.

Crosby fell because he was athletic but unpolished AND had character issues.

RB's are completely fungible and of little value.

An elite top tier 3 sown back has more value to this offense and would be touching the ball and impacting the game significantly more than a slot WR that would be the 4th receiving option in our offense.

Kinda funny how you have to include the commercial for younger folks for a movie reference that came out over 30 years ago

Meh, I'll keep an open mind.  But, I'm not going to judge trust their evaluation.

Not to worry. They'll take him at #7.
