Plus, Jackson is a declining player already.  The chances of him returning to an MVP candidate are slim -- at best.

It also sounds like he's getting next to nothing from the Jets this year. Looks like they are angling for a 2 year, $50M per year average.

This 100%.  He has the second highest win percentage in the league among active QBs and has the worst surrounding cast of offensive skill players compared to all the other young QBs in the league.  It'd be something else to see what he could do with some actual top end talent around him to throw to.  Besides his TE it has been nothing but mediocrity to work with.

Yup. His OC is a terrific run schemer but his passing systems have been and always will be mediocre. 35 year old DeSean Jackson and the Chiefs 5th best WR aren’t really great options. They gave away Hollywood Brown and didn’t replace him as well. Just a completely fumbled offense around an MVP QB. He’s 1 Year Older than Hendon Hooker.

A run on tackles before our pick would be great. If both those 2 are taken and at least 3 QBs are taken then that would leave us with 1 of Anderson, Carter, Wilson, or the CBs which would be a slam dunk at 10.

And even Hollywood Brown, the best WR that Lamar has had is not anything that special.  I wouldn't even place him as a top 20 WR in the league.
